@crimsontadpoles Drive club released in 2014, when the servers shutdown it will be 6 years in 2020, they have given people a years notice in advance when they shut down.

Going by all the comments on driveclub, everybody is playing its multiplayer right?

@Salt_AU Because they mentioned it last e3, don't tell people about it early then, its pretty simple. "Upgraded Engine" I guess we wont see any bugs then? Won't hold my breath.

@Gumbopudding Maybe if you opened your eyes and watched the recently released game play videos, 3 of them by the way, you would see straight away there are upgrades in terms of gameplay, framerate and graphics.

While I am a physical games guy and will continue to be I will not mind so much, when sony goes all digital in the future, just not down with streaming.
Not sure about others but I have had a few psn accounts over the years with different digital purchases, this would be great so I could merge them into one account for free/trading or at least sell them off to others.

@Octane All exclusive content? What about exclusive content that relates to the platform, say in a fighting game. Playstation gets a character from one of their games while Xbox gets one from theirs.
Unless its something major like a side mission that furthers the story I don't see any problem if it just different guns,powers or just a theme.

Timed exclusive games can backfire though, just as much as timed exclusive side missions which this does have, but it only really backfires if its on the weaker performing console like xbox was with Rise of Tomb Raider. Considering xbox fans don't support their games, I think Remedy will be fine.

Classic fake outrage at its finest, you would think sony hadn't released anything good this whole generation going by the comments.
You know what games are coming, you know they are going to be amazing just like the rest, hold on to your underwear and just wait, there will be more announcements and trailers for those games in the future, they aint going to bust it all out in the 1st episode.

@jdv95 Just like Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, no one expected it to be really good. It has taken on its on form now, there are still people playing mulitplayer on both games to this day.

Uncharted 4s multiplayer were easy enough to get, maybe they will do the same with Last of Us 2.

Looks really good, can't wait to jump in.

Console companies are losing the plot, they need exclusives, putting them on other platforms is just stupid. Guess im heading to pc eventually.

@ILoveVideoGames Cleary missing the point, without exclusives, consoles are pointless, they give people an incentive to invest in the platform.

This is not looking good for sony, up until now i had confidence in them but if they are going this way for future games i want no part of it, ill just move to pc for their games just like xbox.

Its bad enough console players pay for online while pc gets it free. Sony better watch it, it could be the death of them next gen if they keep going this way.

@playstation1995 Nothing against her personally, I don't mind some of her music but I don't like when singers make guest appearances in video games or tv shows just for the sake of it.

For example Ed Sheeran making an appearance in Game of Thrones, it was a singing part but it was so cheesy. I could see gaga doing the same type of thing, maybe singing at a bar or something.

If we can kill her in game I have no problem with it.

It was quite funny seeing the xbox damage controllers out in force when these rumors hit, trying to downplay the news.

But when there was rumors Microsoft was buying EA, they went out full force saying its a done deal hahahaha.
