Firestorm, the new battle royale mode coming to Battlefield V, has already been shown off with a trailer, and it's looking pretty good. The mode is due in just a few days on 25th March, and EA has just released a new video that goes into a bit more depth.
The huge map contains various weapons of differing rarity, as well as all the vehicles and destructible buildings you'd expect from Battlefield. A ring of fire encircles the environment, shrinking the playing field until only one squad remains. The video gives us a good look at the mode, and even though it's a bit delayed, it looks like a strong take on battle royale.

Looks really good, can't wait to jump in.
Looks cool. Can’t wait to watch the doc lose the plot playing this.
A game mode is exactly what Battle Royales should be, not "full" games. Good choice by EA - and THAT is not something I say often.
Ugh, I feel like I need to wash my hands after praising EA for anything...
