And before the Sony's guardians come asking me 'would you rather they increased the price instead?' NO! I would rather receiving the same or even more for less money because I'm a consumer and I value my money.

But have MS ever revealed how much they spend yearly on GP? No. Can any of us confirm MS spent more than $5billion last year on GP? No. So nobody can claim it is sustainable or unsustainable.
MS has publicly said that it is sustainable. People on the internet clearly affirm they're lying.
Should I trust possibly liars CEOs or should I trust on some ignorant comments on the internet? I don't know but I do know one of these parts is really good in earning money.

If you guys are saying to me $5 billion of revenue is a bad thing and the service is unsustainable I completely believe in you. Microsoft sure is a trillion dollar company due to your thoughtful insights of the game industry.

And incredible $5 billion of Gamepass revenue. And many people around the internet claiming it's unsustainable.

@trestan Just to answer your question, it wasn't day one on Gamepass. So that doesn't explain these numbers

Here's the scenarios:
Hardcores fans will pay full price (MS wins)
Those with access to gamepass will likely play that way (MS wins)
Some will wait for a sale and after one year maybe it will be at $60 or $70 (still expensive). After two years $40 or $50 (MS wins because we will be paying more than we usually pay right now for a discounted game)
Some won't buy and won't play it (but they probably would never want to play that game anyway)
IMO MS wins and we all lose lol

For those who played on gamepass for one hour and dropped it, congratulations! You guys avoided buying a game you wouldn't like.
For those who bought and didn't like it, well... I guess the only thing left is to brag you actually helped Bethesda earn more money.
For all the other people who bought it or subbed for it and liked the game, congratulations too! That's why we play games, to have fun and not celebrate sales (except for shareholders) 😃

I'll be playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and Mafia 2 Definitive Edition. Trying to finish the trilogy of both IPs before the fourth gets released later this year.

I'm trying to beat 3 games before they leave Gamepass.
I've finished Solar Ash last Wednesday, this weekend I'll try to beat Evil West and after that I'll dive into No More Heroes III

Well the lineup at developer direct would keep me subscribed to Gamepass until May. Now it'll keep me until June lol

Indiana Jones as many other friends here. I'm really enjoying it.
Also, I continue my long journey with Ni No Kuni on Switch (I play only a few minutes before sleeping so it'll be with me for a long long time)

Finishing the campaign of COD Black Ops 6 and after that I think I'm gonna give the Avatar DLC Sky Breaker a chance

Just finished Persona 5 Tactica yesterday and loved it, although the last 3-4 hours are a little bit repetitive.
Now I'll continue my journey through Ni No Kuni 1 and will try to pick another game to start.

@ECharles I believe he means that the awards are useless because they're only opinions of other people and their preferences maybe completely different than yours, just like scores on metacritic.

I've never played a Lego game before and Sammy Barker said in his preview that this is the best Lego game ever made so I can conclude the others are below 6 and I was right avoiding them

Gotham Knights and Paper Mario (N64) this weekend

FF8 is my favorite. Just like someone said before usually people choose their first FF as the favorite and that's my case as well.
It was this game that made me love JRPGs, the soundtrack is amazing, the card game is simple and fun and the junctioning and drawing system is just a matter of reading the tutorial and getting used to it. C'mon Square give us a FF8 Remake!

As for me, I've just finished the Phantom Liberty expansion yesterday and got the ending where the main story of the vanilla continues so I'll be playing the final part of Cyberpunk this weekend. What a game folks!

I'm still playing Cyberpunk 2077. Usually I'm a 'Main Quest Player', but this game made me stray a little bit and play the secondary ones.
During the weekend I'm giving COD MW III a chance too. Haven't played a COD game since a long time ago and I'm having a good time with it.

I'm not sure if I want Neowiz to be acquired by Sony. I would want their next game to be day one on a subscription service at no extra fee rather than behind a $70+ paywall and 3 years later the same game with just a few textures added being sold as a "director cut", "remake"

Life is too short to play the same game again, even if the game is good. There's many different games out there and an increasing backlog for me so thanks TLOU2 we'll never see each other again.

I think it'd be a really different situation if this portable was not a streaming device and something like a PS4 Portable with PS4 games running natively from it.
