Has Suda ever made a game that was actually great? I don't even find them particularly artistic or creative. Unique in the gaming landscape, but there seems to be no unifying voice or language behind the games, they're just a hodge-podge of disparate references shoved together in a game that is eye-catching but severely undercooked when it comes to actual gameplay.

I was massively let down by it, as a diehard fan since my first FF game on the SNES. I've since come around. The battle system is fast-paced, unique, and really opens up the more synergies you unlock. It's still quite beautiful, and the soundtrack is incredible. It's a masterpiece compared to FFXV (worst game in the series) and FFXVI ("Final May Fantasy").
