Most emotional game is Astro's ending. Made my daughter cry so much and I had to convince her Asobi would never do such a thing to that adorable little dude.
Definitely GOTY for me though.

@Yagami They're just too aesthetically unappealing for many people. I'd imagine many will instantly pick their phone up as soon as the non interactive cut scene rattles on and on.

Free DLC too. Plus I'm sure his coy smile when denying that he'd seen Rescue Mission running on a PSVR2 points to a port on the way

@Yagami I didn't dislike it either but it didn't land with many folk. At this current time however, I think it'd be far more wise than going for generic rip off tripe like this if they want to continue the live service push. Many folk loved Astro's Playroom for the PS cameos and something along those lines would work alot better. DLC could be Capcom, Namco characters etc.

@Yagami It was a dud but compared to this flop it's probably looked upon more favourably.

Swap out all the characters and replace with 16 famous Playstation ones. From Alloy to Nathan Drake and beyond. They'd never do it but I'd bet a dollar that it would get more people to give it a go.

It's so advanced that you can even sit in your living room right next the the wall socket to keep it constantly plugged in so the 2hr battery life doesn't capitulate.

Its genuinely worth it for the graphics alone. I dont usually say that but they're fantastic. Full 120 hz means it's super crisp

@doctommaso Never has a truer statement been made. Sony's plan to being a dominant force is to delve into the murky depths of live service failure so that they too can release flops that make no money and tarnish their developers names.

Can Bungie assess all of Sony's live service titles and say "Nope" thus saving us the tedium of seeing them all flop.

They didn't even mention Firewall. Ryan seems to be currently residing on cloud cuckoo.

One of the few who thought Spiderman looks highly generic and was an active disappointment. Couldnt imagine a more shallow looking AAA experience with the combat and the set piece looking very dated

@Exerion76 It looked terribly generic. 2023 and we're still playing Where's Wally with the TV screen, wondering where the X or O will turn up

Ps5 graphics bolted on to PS3 gameplay. Combat looks terribly shallow and the on rails occasional button press sections looked two generations old

No cross gen? Gameplay is exactly the same as the first and that had combat lifted directly out of Arkham Asylum on the PS3.

@twinspectre90 Returnal is their best game this gen as it's gameplay is front and centre.

Spiderman was pretty vacuous tbh. All that visual bombast hiding a very ordinary chase with minimum skill involved. The combat, which had been lifted straight out of Arkhan Asylum on the PS3, looked as shallow as the original. The third party games were fine but as a Showcase to what first party games are on the horizon for phase two it was mediocre at best.

Look Sony, will you say Astro Bot 2 this Xmas. That's all you need to say. ASTRO BOT 2 THIS CHRISTMAS. Just say it.

I personally think the graphics are fine
