Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Had the Biggest Digital Launch of Any Game Ever

BloodNinja

Gaming has to be perfect, 100% of the time. In no universe is any company allowed to foul, misstep, or release buggy games (and then fix them, per usual.)

It’s amazing to me to think of the number of people who do not have the slightest amount of free time to play a video game, yet we who have time to waste also have time to complain about our games, which waste our time.

Just enjoy the games, ignore the ones you aren’t into, some of you are acting like the release of CP2077 was a personal affront.

This isn’t a necessary purchase, but some tips from a ninjas perspective:

Wait the opponent out. There aren’t any OMG MUST HAVE games on the PS5 right now to warrant a purchase, and it plays all your PS4 games so if you still have your old console you aren’t missing anything.

By waiting them out, you miss inflated costs and hurt the scalpers. A true ninja must exercise calm and patience in these circumstances, instead of compulsively trying to get the console.

Next year, it will be easy to get, and anybody that got it through a scalper will kick themselves for paying extra.

Re: Is It Worth Buying a PS4 in 2021?

BloodNinja

Of course it's worth it, the system is still very relevant and has a large player-base for multiplayer, it's cheaper than the expensive PS5, and of course, it's got a huge library of games.

@stinkyx I always found the quality of fighting games to be better from earlier generations. It’s hard when you’ve been spoiled on stuff like 3rd Strike or KOF Ultimate Match.

These days it’s more about how to divvy up the season passes. All the early adopters for SFV, for example, paid close to $200 after all the DLCs and base game. Then of course they slap you in the face if you are an early adopter and sell the Champion edition for $25.

That’s mainly the stance I’m coming from, I’m sure this game is fine, just curious to see how they handle the additional content that really should be there from the start.
