@wilky2988 if you have a PS5 and have the game already it only costs 10 bucks to have the PS5 remaster. Just go to the store and it will automatically show 10 bucks. I paid a few months ago and then had it when it released. Ghost of Tsunami is the same way. You already have the PS4 version and have a PS5 then it too is 10 bucks. I think Death Stranding was 10 too but I can't remember because it was a hassle to get the PS5 version because it kept saying I had to insert the physical PS4 disk when I bought the damn game digitally for PS4 lol I think they finally fixed it though because I now have the PS5 version of that game on my console. Its worth the 10 bucks because I have a PS5 I need PS5 games with better quality and it does show even if some can't tell you really can tell when it looks better and runs at 60fps I can't go back to 30fps it's too janky for me now. I wish, with the prices being so much higher for consoles now days, they would put the HDMI pass through on them so we can utilize our consoles when also watching YouTube or a movie or whatever like Xbox one did. Also I wish they could of put a PS3 chip in the PS5 so I could use my old PS3 visualization to play music because I have my TV connected to my sound tower so music and games sound better through digital audio. Also I could download whole cds or copy music again to my connected hard rive but I'm sure if they did bring that back they would neuter the music download right on out. The current music on consoles is just so basic. I miss having visual players and all. Anyway I can't wait to see what the PS5 Pro can do for gamers. Maybe it works out seeing as it's supposedly 30 something terraflops. How many Nintendo Entertainment Systems is that Anyway? 😆
@Max_the_German I heard Sony was gonna bring back PlayStation Home but make it either a full vr space like Meta or bring it back for all on PlayStation to enjoy but I'm not sure. It could just be just meta competition so that PlayStation owners won't just go their to do their social VR when Sony knows it can bring back Home and make it a VR social platform and it would be awesome I liked the PlayStation Home for PS3 back in the day and it had games you could play within the world as well as the Sims style decorating your little house and you could win cloths and furniture for your home but you also had to buy many things with actual money though I just waited to get the free stuff lol I think they give you some basic things to set yourself up but I guess online places need to make money to keep the servers running 247 so I understand tue need for something like that as its not pay to win or anything, your just buying cloths or home furnishings. You could alter your character to look different with certain things you could win or buy like having wings or devil horns and you know the same thing they have on all those social platforms where you're a character who's talking to strangers or even friends and playing the games within the world but it's fun. I hope they do bring it back because we all need that place again, I haven't been able to get on another one of those social places since I left home way back when. EA should of did this with the Sims and added all that building your houses to it for online because they could of added way more to it by adding things your could buy with money so they could keep the game going but not charge a ton for it that way not everyone has the same things or the same look. I'd like to build and have other people come check it out or rent a room for tokens or something monetary so we could save up to buy in game items decorations or whatever in game maybe let us build for others who aren't so good at it and they would pay us the in game money so that we could use that to buy all the stuff and we could sell whatever at the price we set for the items so that the game has its own economy! @GamingFan4Lyf you mean the information about your statistics? It's not private information or anything and I'm sure it's in the settings that you can turn statistics sharing off at anytime. EA uses that in alot of their games and you always have to press agree or disable the settings but no one is watching you or listening to you, that's all ***** to make people not trust their governments. It's ***** like the Chinese government does that's really ***** up! No freedom of speech or anything over there! Over here the only way the military will watch you or listen to you is if they know your threatening national security and they have programs that check the web for key words that pop up multiple times on certain IP addresses and then will start looking and that's how they find threats sometimes kind of like the shoe bomber. They don't have the people to sit and watch EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE U.S. or listen to them for that matter besides it would be a boring ass job listening and watching people do all they crazy ***** they do. All you have to do is not type words about certain bad things and keep doing it because they WILL start keeping a close eye on you and you will think your in the clear but it takes months for them to gather enough Intel to make a move.

Oh man it would be great if we could customize the light to whatever color we want 9n both Console and controller. Mine would be red and black no questions! Not because of Miles Moraless Spider-Man though he's cool and im a total fan of the suit but it's because my favorite colors are RED & BLACK!!!! Would just be a super bad ass bonus if they launched a Miles Spider-Man edition this holiday so we can actually chose colors at the start instead of either having to wait or being impatient like me and can't wait a year or longer for a different look. Another thing is that front black plate that wrapped around the console has alot of real estate for such a flat surface. Would of been cool if it had an lcd screen with information on it like battery life and all kinds of things. It could work like a smart watch to the controller or something or we could have a small lcd indicator on the controller itself, nothing huge just a tiny window with battery percentage that way we can look quickly like checking your phone or watch to see the time or battery. I don't know. It would be cool if something was on there lol. What if the controller did have a small lcd that showed the home screen so you could go to your music and change without leaving a game session? Hopefully the UI and all is set up to be quick and hopefully we have an improved accessability menu. If only the menus were customizable. Anyway, we can dream
People aren't buying the new consoles for old games. I bet they barely play an old game probably once in a blue moon. The only thing backwards compatibly would be the best fit for is easing into the next gen of gaming so we can bring our last gen over and still play them until new games come and replace them and then everyone and everything is all next gen and then when the next gen after come it all repeats. Xbox doesn't even have every single legacy title ever released because of licensing. Everyone wants to complain about power and T flops flopping around when old games are still going to look like ***** no matter how HD the ***** is. You'll barely play them because it's old and looks bad. After 5 minutes or so your done and putting in a new game. All this backwards compatibly stuff is just something for Microsoft to say they have something over Sony and they've had it for a while and they still haven't done as good as Sony because Sony comes out with new exclusive games only for PlayStation. If you want true backwards compatibly get a PC because everything on Xbox will be on pc and you'll have all the mods and all the power and all the better looking games and can do whatever you want on any game no problem and you can just buy new upgrades to keep up with the new. Everyone I hear is getting a PS5 and buying Xbox exclusives for pc and not worrying about any new Xbox until they make exclusives only for Xbox again. @djlard they did say it's going to come with an 4k ultra HD Blu Ray disk drive. Since Sony owns the Blu-ray they don't have to pay for the disk or drives only manufacturing cost of the plastic and whatnot. Microsoft pays Sony royalties for every Blu-ray disk they use. That's why Nintendo won't ever have a DVD or Blu-ray drive because it's Nintendo and they don't like having to pay anyone.
Everyone acts like Sony will lose at some point but everyone forgets that they still have games that alot of people want to play and the only way to play them is on PlayStation unlike Xbox where you can just get a PC and keep it better than consoles no matter what. Well I think everyone knows that alot of development time is spent just making loading screens, making something to break up level progression like elevator rides or having to unlock a door or move something out of the way so the next part has time to load. If they cut out alot of the small crap like that I bet they have more time to actually focus on game mechanics and world building. I think bigger world's is great and im sure more time will be put on the games as a whole will be easier next gen.

If your actually more worried about a controller that has a mic to make gaming with others a little quicker and easier over your smartphones that are actually always taking data and selling to companies so that they can create target ads just for you and also if you use your phone (the thing you paid for and own) and look up anything sketchy or talk about certain stuff the NSA will really be listening to you and taking video recording of everything around you. Why do you think they switched to the unmountable batteries? Can't take it out so we can save battery while camping or in a survival scenario where you'd want to only use the phone when you absolutely have to as to save every drop of juice. But no. Console makers are just making online gaming a little easier so we can quickly chat with friends without having to dig for an headset that way you can engage in convo then if you need the headset you can simply plug one in as your still talking through the controller. Besides,it has one mute button on the controller and I'm sure you can permanently mute it in the settings of the PS5 like you can in the PS4. Also the PlayStation camera doesn't stay on all the time nor does it's microphones. I like having new technology in gaming. Even if it doesn't always add much to gaming or make much sense, at least they take a shot and see what works.

@bpomber you know how there's a little gap on the touch pad for the light to shine through? It may be just a little brighter than that. It will only be there for the PSVR 1 because all old PS4 and PSVR 1 games use the light bar. The newest PSVR 2 will use cameras and you know one of the biggest things Sony is popular for? Cameras! The newest PSVR 2 will have 2 cameras on the front and the PS MOVE controllers will have no light bubble as all of the patents don't have anything for lights but does have places for cameras. Could be that the "dualsense" has something like smartphones, they have gyros and they're tiny enough to fit in a smartphone so why not use them in something bigger like a controller where you could put a few more for greater sensibility? I also don't think they were using a camera mounted on the TV anymore either since it wouldn't be needed. You would only need to use the PSVR 1 and camera with move controllers from PS4 so you could play the old titles on PS5 as they have said that all would be backwards compatible.
People act like Konami is making money from the machines having graphics from their games when it's the game itself that's got people hooked. Pachinko is all over Japan and it doesn't need a Metal Gear graphic to get people to play in fact they have some that doesn't even have a graphic and has people play them just as much as any other. Konami likes money and if a big offer landed in there lap they would sell. I just wish it were for there entire company so Sony could make them do games right and not do 30 dollar titles that piss people off. Sony and Konami are both in Japan so maybe just maybe they come to some agreement. The real problem is Konami making mobile games. If they weren't doing that and just doing pachinko machines they might sell but people out there are buying stupid microtransactions for stupid mobile games so it makes Konami alot of money therefore keeping them held hostage and off and out of the REAL gaming community! Maybe they get to save these few games at least. I hope Konami does the right thing and relinquishes their hold on slot of that gaming history so that it can go on and become great again.
@Ryall Microsoft worked with Seagate to create there expandable storage so it's only for Xbox. The internal ssd for both will be made onto the motherboard, we won't be able to change it so that's why the memory cards are making a comeback but they will be nothing like the old ones except they hold data games and probably music and movies. At least load times will be near non existent if any. And being able to jump from one game to another and then back without loosing your spot without loading and even if you turn off your console even after a week.this is good
@notdead if your just playing regular PS4 games (or possibly the older titles) you can use a regular hdd expandable storage or thumb drive but the ps5 games will most likely be only ssd because the way their being developed for as little to no loading times. They talked about the ps5 games running in tandem with the sad using the fast loading to render much faster and all that so if you only use a hdd or thumb drive for a ps5 game it will probably say something about using the sad storage. Maybe we'll have the old sounds of ps2 when you put in the wrong disk.
If they only released it on next Gen consoles people would save money and go buy the newest hardware just to be able to play the game! Especially if it looks 10 times better than last gen! They worry about sales but they would help sell the next generation of consoles AND graphics cards it's a win for everyone! Sure they'll be some who won't be able to afford the newest gen but hey, PS4 has some great exclusives and will be cheaper so those still stuck in PS3 era might be able to finally move up one again. But anyway, they think just because there are alot of last gen out there already that they don't think a whole lot of people will move to the new hardware but everything will be backwards compatible with last gen so there's going to be bunches who make the move.
@Gremio108 That was the development kit. It's not gonna be the retail version in people's home. I'm sure it will be just like every other day model that's came before it. I wouldn't mind a radical new design that changes and mixes it up a bit sort of like what Microsoft is trying. I wish they could do a color scheme like red but Nintendo has the red but if they Incorporated the black to make it more red and black it would be bad ass. Would look great with skulls even hearts if people wanted lol.
@JayDub if exclusives weren't a thing then everyone could just get a pc and then consoles would be done. Console gaming is what started the gaming craze after arcades and made it possible for everyone to have it at home. Exclusives make gaming better because if everyone is fighting to make the best exclusive for their platform then people will buy the platform to play it if it's good enough. Like Spiderman or the last of us. These exclusives make companies compete more and help sell consoles anden they keep consoles at a place like PlayStation then everyone will try and beat them by making something better and so the wheel keeps turning and it goes back and forth. This is why we have good exclusives. Well PlayStation. Nintendo will always rely on the same games. Xbox maybe they will figure it out. It helps PlayStation that sony is in the music and film industry as well as electronics so they can make great things easier.

Can't take it out so we can save battery while camping or in a survival scenario where you'd want to only use the phone when you absolutely have to as to save every drop of juice. But no. Console makers are just making online gaming a little easier so we can quickly chat with friends without having to dig for an headset that way you can engage in convo then if you need the headset you can simply plug one in as your still talking through the controller. Besides,it has one mute button on the controller and I'm sure you can permanently mute it in the settings of the PS5 like you can in the PS4. Also the PlayStation camera doesn't stay on all the time nor does it's microphones. I like having new technology in gaming. Even if it doesn't always add much to gaming or make much sense, at least they take a shot and see what works.

Konami saying it wasn't true was from Konami USA but they don't run the actual Konami which is in Japan and they haven't said a word. Konami isn't going to say "oh yeah we doin that" they will try to kill any rumors so no leaks spread but everyone is picking up on something. If it is, it is.

@bpomber you know how there's a little gap on the touch pad for the light to shine through? It may be just a little brighter than that. It will only be there for the PSVR 1 because all old PS4 and PSVR 1 games use the light bar. The newest PSVR 2 will use cameras and you know one of the biggest things Sony is popular for? Cameras! The newest PSVR 2 will have 2 cameras on the front and the PS MOVE controllers will have no light bubble as all of the patents don't have anything for lights but does have places for cameras. Could be that the "dualsense" has something like smartphones, they have gyros and they're tiny enough to fit in a smartphone so why not use them in something bigger like a controller where you could put a few more for greater sensibility? I also don't think they were using a camera mounted on the TV anymore either since it wouldn't be needed. You would only need to use the PSVR 1 and camera with move controllers from PS4 so you could play the old titles on PS5 as they have said that all would be backwards compatible.

People act like Konami is making money from the machines having graphics from their games when it's the game itself that's got people hooked. Pachinko is all over Japan and it doesn't need a Metal Gear graphic to get people to play in fact they have some that doesn't even have a graphic and has people play them just as much as any other. Konami likes money and if a big offer landed in there lap they would sell. I just wish it were for there entire company so Sony could make them do games right and not do 30 dollar titles that piss people off. Sony and Konami are both in Japan so maybe just maybe they come to some agreement. The real problem is Konami making mobile games. If they weren't doing that and just doing pachinko machines they might sell but people out there are buying stupid microtransactions for stupid mobile games so it makes Konami alot of money therefore keeping them held hostage and off and out of the REAL gaming community! Maybe they get to save these few games at least. I hope Konami does the right thing and relinquishes their hold on slot of that gaming history so that it can go on and become great again.

@Ryall Microsoft worked with Seagate to create there expandable storage so it's only for Xbox. The internal ssd for both will be made onto the motherboard, we won't be able to change it so that's why the memory cards are making a comeback but they will be nothing like the old ones except they hold data games and probably music and movies. At least load times will be near non existent if any. And being able to jump from one game to another and then back without loosing your spot without loading and even if you turn off your console even after a week.this is good

@notdead if your just playing regular PS4 games (or possibly the older titles) you can use a regular hdd expandable storage or thumb drive but the ps5 games will most likely be only ssd because the way their being developed for as little to no loading times. They talked about the ps5 games running in tandem with the sad using the fast loading to render much faster and all that so if you only use a hdd or thumb drive for a ps5 game it will probably say something about using the sad storage. Maybe we'll have the old sounds of ps2 when you put in the wrong disk.

If they only released it on next Gen consoles people would save money and go buy the newest hardware just to be able to play the game! Especially if it looks 10 times better than last gen! They worry about sales but they would help sell the next generation of consoles AND graphics cards it's a win for everyone! Sure they'll be some who won't be able to afford the newest gen but hey, PS4 has some great exclusives and will be cheaper so those still stuck in PS3 era might be able to finally move up one again. But anyway, they think just because there are alot of last gen out there already that they don't think a whole lot of people will move to the new hardware but everything will be backwards compatible with last gen so there's going to be bunches who make the move.

That was the development kit. It's not gonna be the retail version in people's home. I'm sure it will be just like every other day model that's came before it. I wouldn't mind a radical new design that changes and mixes it up a bit sort of like what Microsoft is trying. I wish they could do a color scheme like red but Nintendo has the red but if they Incorporated the black to make it more red and black it would be bad ass. Would look great with skulls even hearts if people wanted lol.

@JayDub if exclusives weren't a thing then everyone could just get a pc and then consoles would be done. Console gaming is what started the gaming craze after arcades and made it possible for everyone to have it at home. Exclusives make gaming better because if everyone is fighting to make the best exclusive for their platform then people will buy the platform to play it if it's good enough. Like Spiderman or the last of us. These exclusives make companies compete more and help sell consoles anden they keep consoles at a place like PlayStation then everyone will try and beat them by making something better and so the wheel keeps turning and it goes back and forth. This is why we have good exclusives. Well PlayStation. Nintendo will always rely on the same games. Xbox maybe they will figure it out. It helps PlayStation that sony is in the music and film industry as well as electronics so they can make great things easier.
