Somewhat ironically, I never had any intention of buying Concord the game but would have snapped up Concord the controller had it been available in Australia.
@Starkei Same. Really impressed with their attention to detail and the writing, reckon it shows their appreciation of the source. Although both games were quite similar it didn't bother me and I thought "Yes, these are the go to developers for 80's sci fi IP". If RoboCop had just had driving sequences.
@invictus4000 I reluctantly post this but for me this was the make or break moment for PSVR2. It confirms to me Sony have no interest in support for the platform other than recouping money selling it to PC users. My biggest disappointment ever in gaming which is saying something as I have bought every major platform since the 70s. Seriously, who cares how good the hardware is without software?
@HonestHick @Darthmoogle I bought three PS5s at launch (let's just say I was worried I would miss out and I didn't expect they would all be fulfilled). I sold both spares to friends for what I paid.
@maybemaybemaybe Yes I have been monitoring on and off all day out of curiosity and 7 hours later it's not sold out anywhere. Only thing that has is the charging dock and then only at EB.
Anti-grav racing is an forgotten (by publishers) genre but one I think doesn't date. Not sure there has been a decent one since Fast RMX which was great. Oh the the Mono looks great!
"Freely looking around the cockpit of an X-Wing will have been a childhood dream for many and to see it realised decades later is nothing short of a pleasure."
Too true and looking over my shoulder out the back of the cockpit and seeing my R2 unit being lowered into place gave me almost as much of a buzz as sitting in a TIE for the first time.
I had no real trouble getting a PS5 but the Xbox was a mess and pissed me off no end. I had MS call me to help me with my order at 10 minutes after launch only to be told they were all gone. In the time I was on the phone I likely could have successfully ordered one elsewhere. And Amazon was a debacle. I assume very limited stock had been allocated to Australia. I am very disappointed.
So many years, so many remotes and they still can't get it right. It's dark, you have had a few drinks and you want to turn the volume up and like magic the TV is turned off.
@Arugula I'm back into Division this weekend after a year? away. Still confused but caring less about the numbers and enjoying the gameplay and great graphics on the Pro.

Re: Did You Know PlayStation Almost Had a Different Name?
It's a great name and interestingly was originally registered by Yamaha and Sony had to buy it from them.
Re: Preview: Space Marine 2 Is a PS5 Blockbuster That's Worth the Hype
I see this article as another damage control piece after cancellation of the open beta but then I am a cynic.
Re: The Order: 1886 Dev Ready at Dawn to Close After VR Stint

Re: Talking Point: What's Your PS5 Game of the Year for 2024 So Far?
@Kingy Granblue is my GOTY so far. I just have a lot of fun with it even though I am sure I am playing it wrong and it's a bit lacking in content.

Re: Collectible PlayStation Figurines Out This August, Featuring Aloy, Kratos, and Jin
@ATaco I agree and that might be because we can't see the whole figure, the proportions look a bit off in the others.
Re: PS Store Sales Charts: Xbox's Sea of Thieves Is Massive on PS5, Helldivers 2 Finally Starts to Slip
@DarkTron There should be more games about suicidal babies.
Re: CYGNI: All Guns Blazing Knows What It's Doing with This PS5 Trailer
@Axelay71 Keep expectations low...getting EDF Wingdiver vibes unfortunately
Re: CYGNI: All Guns Blazing Knows What It's Doing with This PS5 Trailer
@Axelay71 Yes it's been coming FOREVER (seriously years I think) ...and I have been hopeful because Konami are publishing. A new Axelay maybe?

@HonestHick @Darthmoogle I bought three PS5s at launch (let's just say I was worried I would miss out and I didn't expect they would all be fulfilled). I sold both spares to friends for what I paid.
Re: The Last of Us 3 Rumours Are Doing the Rounds Again

Re: A New PS5 Firmware Update Is Available to Download Right Now
Just curious but are these "firmware" updates really hardware level BIOS updates or simply OS software updates?

@tameshiyaku Imprint...yes
Re: Returnal Aims to Haunt Players with a Slowly Unravelling Mystery on PS5

Re: Here's How Assassin's Creed Valhalla Handles Microtransactions
I'll buy the cosmetics pack if it gives Eivor luscious pouty lips, flirty lashes and a flustered blush.

Re: Random: Kid Playing Spider-Man PS4 Is the #Content You Need Right Now
Reminds me of that great photo of the kids watching Miyamoto play Mario Maker.
Re: Ghost of Tsushima Getting a Gorgeous Art Book, Launches Alongside the PS4 Exclusive
Almost makes up for the fact the special edition only includes a digital mini art book.

Re: Gamescom 2018: New Starlink: Battle for Atlas Trailer Shows Off Varied Planets
Has a No Man's Sky look to it which is nice and I know it's aimed at kids (isn't it?) but think I might end up getting it.
