Sony has revealed a new branding for its exclusive games lineup, which will launch alongside the PlayStation 5. All exclusive games will now be branded under the 'PlayStation Studios' umbrella, which sounds rather slick and snappy.

PlayStation Studios even has its own opening animation, which will play whenever you boot up a first party release. It features glimpses of various exclusive titles, including Uncharted, Horizon, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, The Last of Us, and LittleBigPlanet. You can watch the 17 second clip in the video that we've embedded above, although it will change depending on the game or franchise it's being used to promote.

The new branding will be used on the PlayStation 4, although it's being introduced too late for The Last of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. It'll also feature on other platforms, such as MLB The Show 21, which will launch on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X, as well as PS5.

Speaking with Games Industry.biz, executive Eric Lempel said that he hopes consumers will see the branding and associate it with the "quality games they've come to expect from [Sony]". It'll appear in trailers, on box art, and more.
