PlayStation Plus has been on a bit of a roll for a while now, and Sony's clearly keen on maintaining momentum. A leak on one of the platform holder's European blogs has revealed that stylish action role-playing game Apotheon will be free for subscribers on the PlayStation 4 in February, where it'll be joined by Supergiant Games' critically acclaimed Transistor.
Over on the PlayStation 3, you'll be landing two big retail releases: Thief and Yakuza 4. We're particularly excited about the addition of the latter, as it should finally give everyone an opportunity to give one of Push Square Towers' favourite properties a try. Of course, that's not all, as Rogue Legacy will also be available across PS4, PS3, and Vita, while handheld fans will get platformer Kick & Fennick as well.
We'll follow up with a feature outlining all of these titles in a little more detail as soon as they're confirmed, but what's your kneejerk reaction to this leaked content drop? Cheer or sneer in the comments section below.
Update: Sony has now officially confirmed this lineup for Europe and North America.

Apotheon is one of those smaller games that I've been keeping an eye on, so if this is true then I'm a little excited about it now
I don't really know anything about apotheon, but I was hoping transistor hit at some point. I've never played bastion or that, so I'd be happy. My wife would probably try thief, and after playing sleeping dogs, I'd be willing to give yazuka a try. Never played any of those either.
Transistor? I'll take that happily thank you very much.
Last gen version of Thief though - no thanks.
Holy hell, Transistor, Apotheon, Rogue Legacy, Yakuza 4 are aces! Don't know about that Vita title though, looks interesting though.
Transistor, finally!! And Rogue Legacy will inject some new vitality into my Vita, it's the kind of game you can play for a few minutes a day and still make progress, perfect for a quick gaming session before going to bed!
Well, Transistor was super fun, at least I could trade in Injustice when it came on ICC. But I'll tell you right now, have no regrets in spending actual money on Transistor. Everything about it was brilliant.

Feel free to be officially pleased or disinterested or something something.
@Punished_Boss_84 Beat me to it.
Dam I've already got Transistor but It's fantastic
Apotheon I am really psyched for for some reason, it just looks so slick!
Transistor I couldn't care less for though.
Still, decent as it seems most people wanted Transistor and Apotheon just looks awesome.
So much for the "AAA" stuff then hahaha!
PS4 selection is 50/50, Transistor is a cracking game but Apotheon just looks dreadful.
PS3 is much better. Thief may not be anything special but it's a fun little game if you look past its many faults. Yakuza 4 is just a massive thumbs up.
Vita is just... no. It's time IGC leaves the handheld. Give out Freedom Wars and Persona 4 Golden next month as a final hurrah then retire the service on it. There's just nothing left on it so call quits.
For me it's a disappointing month but only as I have all the games I'd want. For Yakuza alone though it's wonderful. Another step in the right direction.
@Shellybird27 Took the words right out of my mouth! I've been wanting to try Transistor, Rogue Legacy, and Yakuza for ages, and I've had my eye on Apotheon for a little while now too. Safe to say I'm fairly chuffed with this announcement!
Does anyone know if Thief was one of those titles were owning the PS3 version got you a discount on the PS4 version? I'm interested in playing it, but as @Jonny said, last gen version, not for me ta.
Very happy with apotheon, and the rest, already have rogue legacy though, ps3... don't much care, third is rubbish but I'll still be adding yakuza 4 to the library
@masofdas Nothing about it looks interesting to me. From what Ive seen of it, it looks final fantasy-esque, not my thing at all.
But I hear all this raving about it, so Im guessing it has a great story?
The more people who play Yukuza 4, the more likely it increases the fan base, which increases localisation prospects next time and it'll help out the sequel.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya genuinely confused as to how in any way Transistor looks "final fantasy-esque"? I'm not saying for definite that you're wrong, but I just don't really see it myself or get where you're coming from with that? The genre, art style, gameplay etc are all pretty different to any FF game I've ever played. Except maybe that the city could be compared loosely to Midgar from FF7, which is something that could be levelled at most games involving a remotely futuristic city. I'm intrigued here.
@rastamadeus Dude, no, just no! There are people that enjoy the indie games and such that are coming out on the service for Vita...why leave the service?
@SteveButler2210 Like FF3/4 with the isometric camera and semi turn based strategy combat. I saw a video in which the enemies had a health bar with an attack indicator, such as "backstab for bonus damage", but the enemy attacked, then stopped whilst the guy moved around and attacked the enemy. Not exactly Final Fantasy but similar in style.
@rastamadeus How about Rogue Legacy? I hear that's a great game, as well.
Yakuza 4 is the star of a strong line up for me....I really liked the craziness of Yakuza 3 when I tried it so I'll look forward to trying this.
@AFCC @Shellybird27 Whether we like it or not the Vita is all but dead and it won't be long before the service is off of the Vita. We all know that. There's nothing substantial left to give away and next to nothing coming out in the future you could see being given away. I just think it would be best to leave Vita with us all going "WOW, what a selection!" with those two titles I mentioned than more "yay/sigh, more indies!" arguments every month. The majority of Vita indies aren't expensive so keep the PS+ discounts going for the people too tight to pay the couple of quid and let's move on with a bang rather than the inevitable whimper.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya
It's nothing like final fantasy, the story is excellent so is the soundtrack &visuals. Best console exclusive on the PS4.
@rastamadeus Trolling much? Rogue Legacy is a very good game. If you don't believe me, try it on PS4. It's cross-buy!
@rastamadeus Yeah, but at least they give us, Vita lovers, something! Sometimes they give things I enjoy, other times not really, but that happens to me on all platforms...
I think taking away the service would be the final blow and would end the Vita...
@masofdas Ive just not liked what Ive seen so far which isnt that much I must admit.
Im more than willing to try it out though, most folk on here seem to have great tgings to say about it.
Ha ha awesome rouge legacy has been in my cart on the store for months also nearly brought transistor a couple of weeks ago l, awesome line up!
Cool lineup. Think I'll have to dust off my PS3 for Yakuza & Thief!
For me this is an excellent lineup, was looking at Transistor for awhile but needed to wait for a decent enough sale but this is better. Apotheon is a dark horse since we don't know how good the game is yet and Yakuza 4 is interesting but since I've never played the first 3 I don't know if it will be worth getting into the story.
Awesome! I was considering purchasing Transistor and Yakuza 4, so this is great news!
Killer lineup for my tastes ! Transistor was on my lists of wait and see as it seemed like a perfect psplus title and here it is pretty much everything is something I wanted to try but never jumped out to buy them so overall a great month of plus for me !
I own yakuza 4, the rest don't look very fun to me, guess PSN+ is just for multiplayer for February.
Hrmm, Transistor looks promising, I have Rogue Legacy, everything else is garbage. Disappointing, but I didn't expect much.
Overall pretty sweet line-up. PS3 part stinks, but the rest of is great. And @Get2SammyB, you might want to put the update at the top, at it still looks like only a rumor to those who want the official news and not a rumor.
Driveclub?
Been looking forward to Apotheon, so it would be nice to get it through PS+. Already have Transistor, but Rogue Legacy is a nice get. Played quite a bit of the PC version and wouldn't mind trying it again on PS4 or Vita. Always nice when PS+ offers a cross-buy game for all platforms.
@rastamadeus You sure are a troll when it comes to the vita... :/
When you post predictions about vita like that, you sure are asinine about it...
Good month because of Transistor alone. Yakuza is the icing on the cake.
@Kohaku
The Last Guardian?
@AFCC The service may go on for months on Vita but with the amount of users dropping, the console struggling and upcoming games not being the most exciting I just think, like I said, would be best to go out with a bang. Having undoubtedly the best game on the machine free (Persona) and the last first party game would give it some much needed positive news. Maybe making the games on Vita change every other month too, just something to give it a shot in the arm. We all want it to be a success while it's still here.
@Wesker Not liking something is trolling now? So basically, by that logic, you're trolling me for not liking something I said about a game I don't like the look of. Makes sense I guess. Seriously though, I've played Rogue Legacy before and didn't enjoy it, hence me not liking it. Can only have an opinion on something you've tried can't you. I wish more people had that thought, too many people won't like something because of who made it. I don't like the look of Uncharted 4, for example, as I've not enjoyed a single Naughty Dog game - but I'll still be trying it.
@Potrock_Star Shame your banned. Was enjoying you making things up about me. Felt like I was famous. There's my fifteen minutes gone.
