Re: Ridiculously Good Looking Terminator 2D Delayed Due to Physical PS5, PS4 Release

@nomither6 I am going off of examples that yes have happened to me and that I have seen. So saying it is virtually no possible is wrong. Look at iOS and Android as an example. I have countless games that I bought that I cannot download anymore. I have had issues with Steam as well, where games I bought wer etaken from my library due to them being gone off of the storefront.

To say this is just some not liking digital is a bit shallow as it is something that is a growing problem and is even more evident when looking at the Stop Killing Games movement where within the EU over a million people signed a petition to have people get the rights to a purchased digital game.

@nomither6 I am not reaching for a straw here. I have been following this digital vs. physical for years now and sadly it is becoming more and more evident that digital is under the control of the publishers and when your console breaks and you want to redownload then you better hope the publishers havent removed the game, so being tied to your account has no weight here.

When my system breaks, I can just buy a new one, as can I if my disc breaks. And I can do this long after the system is taken offline and do not have to worry that it may not be there anymore.

Also that with the update may be true but since most of my consoles are offline that is no worry. And even if it does update, I can factory reset and be fine again. Again something that you cannot do if you rely on digital.

@nomither6 Yes of course most games digital are still there, but let the hardware fail an dthe game is removed from the store, you will be SOL and cannot redownload that game. With physical you pop it in and youre good. As I stated, there are more than enough examples of this and it will just get more and more. Digital is just a license and no ownership and therefor I will never buy digital.

Now before someone says: "A Disc is a license" I can correct you as that is a false statement. As long as that disc does not need internet you have the game and can play it at anytime. Digital you can lose that at anytime (i.e. The Crew).
