Pre-ordered Capcom Fighting Collection 2. CVS2 and PowerStone 2 here I come. I couldn't play either online back in the day and am extremely keen for Power Stone 2 online. It always seemed like a smash bros killer to me back then but was only released on the Dreamcast.

The guitar hero looking parry mechanic has slightly put me off but I'm interested in playing the first 2 games now.

Wuthering Waves already has "this is all happening in cyberspace" undertones. It shouldn't be too hard to integrate Cyber Punk characters.

Joel carried Ellie through the first game for me and when the death happened in part 2 I quickly lost interest in the game. I was hoping they would showcase events between the 2 as there's a 5 year gap but as that is not the case I've dropped this show.

@get2sammyb What's the online like for Powerstone 2? Did you have a chance to try it out. I could never get into Smash bros ever since I played PS2 decades ago. Do they still have the crafting system? It was far more entertaining than most rpgs versions to this day.

From the trailers it looks like a cross between Apex and The Finals both of which I currently play so this is a pass for me.

I miss Quake arena and Unreal Tournament. There's no decent Scifi mutiplayer shooter imo.

Hmmm...was a 6.5 hopefully s2 will be better. CG Devil trigger was pants.

Never liked the character so not bothered but they should have kept it quiet till they were close to ready. Pretending like they don't know this is what gaming community has become is silly. Or you know..just stay off SM till you are ready.

Edgerunners was bearable... not triggers best work. A studio more suited to cyberpunk like IG would be interesting to see as they're more serious and gritty. GITS and Psycho Pass being prime examples of what a Cyberpunk world would be like when viewed from the corpo perspective.
I'd rather they move away from cyberpunk for now as I doubt they can do any better than the final (minimal bugs)release at this time. Maybe another decade or two and they will have new material as CDPR is a slow burner studio. It will most likely be (as stated by quite a few Push denizens) some skins and additional weapons which I could care less about.

Still no Cyclops. It's also pretty annoying that all the season bosses Dr Doom, Dracula only show up in comic format and are not even in the game. I'm guessing that will also be the case for Ultron if he's the main boss. What's the point of adding those arcs?

@Oram77 Brain biopsies are already common place and have been for a while. He was just a ***** doctor or might have been a vet claiming to be a doctor.

Joel was right. That doctor could have been a quack if chopping her up was his only solution. It's not like the hospital was over run and that was his only option?

@IntrepidWombat Agreed and doesn't this have great potential too? VA's can take on multiple jobs and focus on one while their AI counterpart does the others (albeit for a lesser fee). It shouldn't be all doom and gloom the robots are taking our jobs. The legendary Batman VA is still getting jobs after his passing and I'm guessing the proceeds go to his family.

The fear of AI is just gonna give rise to more uses of AI just as the fear of "Big brother" and CCTV ensured it filled cities faster.

The new VA has nothing to do with the strike and I'm sure he's got bills to pay. They should be blaming their union reps not him.

Long development cycles is probably one of the reasons devs keep trying to get into live service besides the obvious. Hoyo and Kuro have proved that it can be successful if done right.
I wouldn't mind a new single player Batman game in an open world Gotham sandbox with new story arcs and villains every few months.
With the multitude of DC and Marvel characters out there I'm surprised they haven't done this yet. Those franchises have "Gacha" written all over them.

An early Joel and Tommy story would be fantastic and chaotic.

@Bramble Yes it should be royalty based. That's what legislators and accountants are there for. VA's should be pushing their union reps to get them to secure a path like this. VA's could even get more work this way as AI isn't perfect yet if a company finds a VA they like but the AI just isn't hitting the correct tone. They could contact them directly to run specific lines.

AI voices in games was inevitable. What they should be doing is selling their voices for use in AI generators while they can. The legendary Mr Conroy still seems to be getting work after his passing.

I would have preferred Madhouse again just with a better script and action choreography this time around. Western style animation isn't at the point where it can do Date's fast and stylish moves justice yet.

@themightyant Varied mileage indeed. For that reason I don't care for reviews besides the technical performance aspects of a game (Pre-order Cyberpunk L still fresh in my memory). I do agree it could have been executed better though, same with Legendary.

@themightyant What? I enjoyed Jericho. I was sick and tired of cods and battlefields so it was a breath of fresh air.

@MFTWrecks I agree. There should be far more synergies than currently available. I main Hulk and Magneto and they are both woefully under-powered. The fact that thing can do knock ups, knock backs and stuns more than Hulk is a joke. Hulks slap not doing an Aoe is a joke. Magneto only being able to use the blade when scarlet witch is on team is also silly that should be standard but with damage modifier when she is on team. He should also be able to fastball Wolverine at will.

Yea I thought it was cause of tensions between both countries that they were let go. You don't want to mess with the CCP if you're over there. Any excuse and you're cooked.

@Shigurui Haha I completely forgot about his E2. I still use team FF but I've got Lingsha and Fugue in there now.

@Shigurui True but how many players would opt to waste that LC on Bailu. I'd rather use it on Gallagher.

They should buff Clara. Svarog is basically a summon so they should make him and all the robots of his boss version part of her kit.

@themightyant 6 weeks went by quick. I'm hoping this update will unlock the floating island but it probably wont.

A lot of live service hate on this site. How difficult is it to understand that if Sony managed to create some live service blockbusters they would then have more leeway to fund the increasingly expensive Single player games you love so much but complain there are so few of? You should be hoping for their success in live service more than those who play it.

Nah I disagree. Looks low tier especially for a battle anime. Such a shame as the franchise is popular enough to have a seasoned studio handle it.

It depends what type of Live service. Honkai star rail, WuWa, ZZZ are all live service single player with some co op elements. If they can do something similar where I can play new chapters every few months instead of waiting years for the next installment then I'm up for that. Would give them a chance to flesh out some of the more overlooked gods/titans/npcs/enemies in the series rich history.

Is any of the 20 mil going to any of the kids who used their parents cards without permission? I highly doubt it. FTC just hustled some drinking money.

6 was the worst in the series for me. I played and returned it on the same day.

@JokerBoy322 If that's the case then I agree that another studio should do it. There was talks of a GL tv show like True Detective but that seems to have fizzled out.

Rocksteady have spent enough time in Gotham If they must do another superhero game let them try a different hero. I really liked the detective aspects of the Arkham series so I would be curious to see what they could do with Green lanterns who are technically space police.

@get2sammyb The story in 2.0 is less noun heavy and the VA's are on point this time. It's so obvious when Yangyang says "Huanlong" that they used that same dub each time.

Once you understand how the combat synergies and character specialties work, WuWa has a deeply immersive combat experience (Intro & Outro Skills). Even certain Echo skills buff the whole team. I tried out Genshin and ZZz and neither could keep me. I still play HSR though as it's the only decent turn based jrpg I like at the mo.

@DannZan Yea unfortunately it's for Turkish gamers as their connections tend to suck so players lash out at them and seeing as words like "noob" are banned they just call players who suck "Turk"

It's fairly toxic in quickplay too. I tend to mute everything when I play multiplayer games solo. Mobile MOBA's everyone seems to have something against "Turks".
