Since 2016s Battle Garegga, all they have done are shmup ports. Mainly arcade perfect ones.

While the thing to say is that I feel so sorry for everyone involved I don’t really. There highly qualified and will walk in to all kind of well paid tech jobs. There’s been a correction in the last few years as there’s just a ridiculous amount of studios making games

@Whately86 I’m not that techy so I can’t tell you the answer but I did read ff16 can’t hit 4K 60fps on a 4090 pc. This isn’t a sony problem

@IOI you don’t have to zoom in to notice a difference I’m currently playing dragon age about 7/8ft from a 55” OLED and it looks a much softer image flicking between performance/quality. Is it worth buying a new machine for? Depends on the person but it’s easy to see a difference at my viewing distance

Played this for a couple of hours and got about 70 trophies. Not sure how people love it so much, it’s wandering about until you get powerful then you can pretty much stand in the same place.
As for cross overs, benny hill is perfect

Put you in a room with no work to do! Where do I sign up. Whenever these story’s about layoffs come up I always think about when the fall guys developer did lay offs. They had 3 writers on staff!!! Now that’s a good job, 3 full time workers to do the job what one person could do in an afternoon

@NEStalgia not all of want a pc tho. I recently bought a steam deck to play some shmups I’m interested in and I’m overwhelmed with that! I still don’t know what protons are.
I’ve bought a pro cos I want to just put a disk in and it to look as good as possible

I played the original silent hill and sacked it off cos I couldn’t solve a puzzle(pre internet for me)so I never played the rest.in this remake I was most impressed by that with using the map, I never got stuck. It kept the flow going. Rather than wandering aimlessly around, I knew my goal and when I wandered off path it always seemed to be the right way. I still googled most of the puzzles!

@jrt87 I won’t be getting this game but comments like this have convinced me to get a pro. After all the complaining about the pro’s price I reckon it’s gonna be at least 4 or 5 years till they can a get a low enough RRP on a ps6. There’s a lot of games gonna come out between now and then

@AdamNovice there are only 32 professional American football teams. If you look at where the some of the biggest college football teams are, it’s in places like Nebraska and Alabama. States with no professional teams

@IamJT America loves American football! Like all American sports it’s a closed shop, no leagues, no relegation. There’s 32 nfl teams! Most of the big boys in college football are in states with no nfl team. For context there is 92 professional teams in England and prob the same again in semi professional and through promotion they all have the chance to become professional

@nessisonett obviously some people are struggling but there are lots that aren’t. Its not a massive amount and if you get an interested free credit card, it’s like 25 quid a month for two years? Or 2 and a half large kfc box meals

Pleased that it looks like they are incorporating dirt 3.0 into the new wrc game by including the old cars. In 2.0 the newest rally car is that mk2 fiesta r5 which is a wrc2 car. It’s fun to drive but it’s so stable and has so much grip. I prefer to drive the understeering 4 wheel drive, rocket pigs in group b or the knife edge rear wheel cars

I’m a massive rally game fan and I’m gutted about the delay but delighted the at the price.

Yeah I got the pay phone scene. I do think it was well written but Obviously the story resonated much more with you than it did with me. From reading reviews at the time I assumed playing the drug crazed lunatic would give me a far different experience from playing it straight but from reloading previous saves after I finished, aside from a few lines of dialogue it was exactly the same.
I know you said it’s not a murder mystery but the reveal in the third act made me annoyed I was excited to find out who did it! Maybe I just missed the whole point of the game…..

@nessisonett well a murder mystery is what I thought I was getting myself into! I took those boots and thought here we go this will cause trouble! But it just didn’t. Yea there are lots of sub plots but none of them matter

I have no interest in going back to this game as id finished a few weeks after release but if i did still have it i wouldn't have a problem paying 10 dollars which is what 8 quid? so the price of a KFC. You say sony doesn't know there audience with making them pay. Id say that they know them pretty well. The general gaming public isn't the frothing at the mouth internet mob

I think these developers should be able to put there games on sale whenever they want, just like switch. The last time i looked on the sale bit on switch there was over 800 games on sale. Its a game in itself getting to the bottom.
Crimson clover is about 300 games in, which by any measure is a top tier indie game.

I would imagine he could have one if he wanted. He won't have time to play games as like a lot of incredibly successful people his life is his job. If it wasn't he could have retired a long time ago

Ive pre ordered this but i think its going to bomb hard. Im paying about 64 quid for it and that's a lot of cash for the person who just buys a couple of games a year and sees an advert for this on youtube or the side of a bus. If this was a ps4 game it would be available to buy for less than 40 quid pre order

Some people are never happy, they complain if studios keep doing sequels but then complain that bend now seem to be working on new ip. As for days gone it was alright and never really liked the hoard bit of it, was like a benny hill simulator

Its not really big deal, It only sells about a million a year. Id imagine a large number of that million are pretty hardcore players so would have to buy the game when it leaves gamepass anyway.

I thought it was pretty good. Seems to cover whats coming out until the end or summer. Im not really interested in seeing a logo screen of a game i can't play for years

I'll probably get this at launch, as I'm a big housemarque fan but for games to be a success people who buy a couple of games a year and see an advert on youtube or the side of a bus need to pick it up. I can't see many doing that at 70 quid
