Why did Sony even compete with Microsoft to acquire studios back then, only for it to end up being for nothing since Xbox is turning into a third-party publisher? Because of that, talented studios like Bluepoint and Japan Studio—two of my favorite Sony studios—ended up closing down.
Expected review score from a PS site, I truly understand. But honestly what happened to Insomiac? All of their PS5 games are great, except this one. They should make this game about X-men to have gameplay variety than to concentrate with Wolverine alone.
So when you lose in unit sales, you shift the focus to dollar sales. I’m certain that if the situation were reversed, Sony would claim that unit sales are what matter most. Pathetic.
I hope Nintendo and Xbox don't follow Sony's lead. I'm sure it will take a while for Nintendo, since they don't really tend to copy others. There's a strong chance Microsoft might do it, though, given how often they copy each other.
Given the very low sales of the PS5 in May and June 2026 and high sales of the Switch 2, I'm sure there's a big chance that the PS6 will become a hybrid console.
They should copy what Nintendo is doing. Reveal a game when it's only a month or two away from release. And wait for pre-orders to explode. Look what happened to star fox pre-orders. XD
@cainhurst94 Did you check the list bro? they didn't combine the RE9 standalone numbers and Generation pack numbers. #3 is the Generation pack which many of Switch 2 owners prefer to buy because of bundled RE7 and RE8. That is the reason that Standalone RE9 Switch is just 4%.

Terrible news!! So PS5 is my last Sony console! Good thing I have Switch 2! I will support Nintendo until they also ditch physical media.
