While I'm not commenting on price point or even if PS5P is even needed, video gaming has ALWAYS been a luxury hobby. Just take a look at the price of games, ATARI or NES vs the average wage back then.

@itsfoz it's more of an upgrade than a refresh. The standard console is PS5.

That being said, I don't see that many people fork out $700 for a gaming console.

Pre-ordered the game as I know it's gonna be good and I want to support games/devs like this.

But I did NOT expect how overwhelmingly great the game and the responses are.

I really love what Team Asobi is doing with the games; they really are passionate AND super talented.

@MrMeeeseeeks Many of them are from the defunct Japan Studio that was shut down by Sony in 2021. Those devs are also real gamers with passion and vision who made tons of classic and unique games back then.

@GamingFan4Lyf This is actually harder to pull off successfully because it requires real talents and creativity.

That's why many studios try to compensate by pouring money into those other areas. Hence, we get so many Ubisoft-like, pretty but bland games.

I've already pre-ordered the game but I'm still shocked at how high the scores are (not only from Pushsquare). Team Asobi is indeed the true successor to Japan Studio ❤️

Listen to player feedback and improve on the weaknesses. It's hard to go wrong, WB, if you focus on the game first.

I was gonna buy it after finishing Unicorn Overlord. This game alone is worth the subscription.

What are the chances that the author actually likes the game a lot to write that article? And how out of touch he is to tell the readers that people are wrong because they are "haters"?

They are actually gamers too besides being biz execs. All these current execs may be bosses at Fortune 500 companies but they are absolutely clueless in running a gaming company.

Many people are playing classic games made in the 90s and we have a sub tier in PS+ just for this...

The studio was given them and feedback all the way till launch but they chose to ignore all.

Focus on creating good and/or attractive characters and the gameplay instead of pushing agendas.

Pull the game and redesign all characters like how FF14 was redesigned. Then re-launch it a F2P game.

This is the only way but they'd probably be better cutting their losses now.

@TheAmbienWalrus It's a mobile game at core regardless of how many platforms it appears on; all HYV games are designed/meant to be played in snippets.

Why is no one picking on their huge anime eyes?

Where's the representation when it comes to human eyes? Why only skin color?

9 for now (I don't know how/what the end game will be). The game is my favorite out of all of the famous 3 Hoyoverse games that I've tried.

I love the quirky and unique characters, satisfying combat and interesting story. My only gripe so far it's the unfriendly and distracting UI.

This game is fun and I absolutely love how unique their characters are. It's not just the aesthetics but they are full of personalities.

@Batesy125s It's a single-player game and you can beat the main story with only the free characters.

All HYV games are designed/make their money not based on needs but wants.

FF7 Rebirth or Stellar Blade. I change my mind between these 2 depending on the day of the week.

After playing Ghost of Tsushima, this looks kinda underwhelming.
