That's why many studios try to compensate by pouring money into those other areas. Hence, we get so many Ubisoft-like, pretty but bland games.

@Tecinthebrain It looks very different from deception or, at best, being misleading. Otherwise, the the concept of lie won't exists since everyone just have different opinions.

What are the chances that the author actually likes the game a lot to write that article? And how out of touch he is to tell the readers that people are wrong because they are "haters"?

I really hope it's true as I can feel that the second half of the story is concluded abruptly.

They are actually gamers too besides being biz execs. All these current execs may be bosses at Fortune 500 companies but they are absolutely clueless in running a gaming company.

Many people are playing classic games made in the 90s and we have a sub tier in PS+ just for this...

The studio was given them and feedback all the way till launch but they chose to ignore all.

Focus on creating good and/or attractive characters and the gameplay instead of pushing agendas.

Pull the game and redesign all characters like how FF14 was redesigned. Then re-launch it a F2P game.

This is the only way but they'd probably be better cutting their losses now.

Where's the representation when it comes to human eyes? Why only skin color?

9 for now (I don't know how/what the end game will be). The game is my favorite out of all of the famous 3 Hoyoverse games that I've tried.

I love the quirky and unique characters, satisfying combat and interesting story. My only gripe so far it's the unfriendly and distracting UI.

This game is fun and I absolutely love how unique their characters are. It's not just the aesthetics but they are full of personalities.

@Batesy125s It's a single-player game and you can beat the main story with only the free characters.

All HYV games are designed/make their money not based on needs but wants.

FF7 Rebirth or Stellar Blade. I change my mind between these 2 depending on the day of the week.

After playing Ghost of Tsushima, this looks kinda underwhelming.

Online subscription for games in itself is not a good business model, unlike shows and music. It actually cannibalizes the good games/devs if that's the only thing a platform does.

What PS is doing is probably the best form of gaming online sub.

I'm sure there are some real damage done to a small number of fans but compared to the publicity and the reputation without spending any real money... I just hope they won't repeat this.

It is the top game for its category/this genre of games. Also, I don't judge a game based on how "perfect" it is but how much fun I've had.
It's also why I really love Nintendo games.

@itsfoz I'm 10 hours in. The combat is getting even more satisfying, the story and characters got more interesting; but they are all built-on/expanded from the base in which the demo gives a pretty good sense of it.

If you are not into this type of fast-paced action games (as much as I love this game, I'm fully aware that no game is for everyone), I guess the main game won't change your mind.
