Re: Stellar Blade Sequel Is Under Serious Consideration as Dev Eyes AAA Franchise Success

It's a very good game. I'd like to see less large open areas in the sequel and more focus on the linear areas. Getting through the Wastelands only to have to do basically the same thing in the Great Desert was a chore, especially for 100% collectors like myself. Eidos 9 was a great example of how the levels should be built.

Also, please, God, fix the platforming controls which were wonky as all hell.

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Sales Remain Muted in the USA, Compared to Past Games

I bought the bundle with Remake a long time ago when that was a thing. In retrospect having played Rebirth now, I wouldn't have bought it. I acknowledge it's a very good game, but not really for me. Too much fluff with the collection and mini games. Felt like it was jammed full of stuff just for the sake of having stuff. This is the problem with trying to stretch one game into three full games.

I used to hold court at the arcade for hours on an MK2 or MK3/UMK3 machine. Modern fighting games are honestly too complex for me, like I don't have the time to learn all their systems and everything. MK One was the same. I know that's on me but it's why I don't play fighting games anymore, despite MK being unquestionably my favorite series in the past.

I started GOW shortly after I finished my final playthrough of Horizon Forbidden West. For whatever reason I couldn't get into GOW. I played it for about 5 or 6 hours but gave up. It was a fine game, I just wasn't feeling it. Part of me wants to go back, but I have other things calling.
