@Matroska Didn't mean to confuse. I meant that you can be holding the down button on the D-pad or analog stick only for the next screen to change to him walking back to the previous screen. It's annoying but not game breaking. Aside from the the controls are quite intuitive. I've completed it now and must admit I really enjoyed it. Some of the puzzles are difficult to crack, but when you figure it out it can feel quite rewarding.
I decided to give Grim Fandango a try. So far, so good. The controls can be a pain. On one screen I'm walking in one direction but as soon as the next screen comes on I'm going in the opposite direction lol. Doesn't ruin the game though, just frustrating.
@dryrain Didn't know the last of us had multiplayer. Mind you I was emotionally exhausted after finishing it so I could have missed it. I must admit that I tend to give any multiplayer game a miss based on the assumption that it's just going to be as frustrating as the likes of CoD. The only time I've ever felt the urge to use my dualshock as a projectile is whilst playing MP lol. I'll check TLOU out though, thanks. As for driveclub, I did enjoy it, and it's definitely visually stunning. It just didn't grab me like Gran Turismo did on previous consoles. I would spend hours retrying tracks over and over trying to shave milliseconds off my time. Also collecting and improving my vehicles. I loved NFS most wanted. I've found the NFS games this gen a little underwhelming. The crew was pretty good, project cars too. I just don't have the appetite that I used to. Ah well, not complaining as the games I am interested in more than keep me busy. This year looks to be the best so far for gaming (of all tastes). Gona be expensive, but ultimately worth it.
I don't know what's wrong with me this gen. I loved driving games from PS1 to PS3. I just can't seem to get into them so far though. I'm hoping that Gran Turismo reignites my love for them later this year. Also, are there no single player campaign people out there any more? I'm useless playing multiplayer. CoD campaign- headshots, badass etc. Multiplayer- proper noob, can't shoot for s@@t lol. There's usually some scrote that literally eats, sleeps and breathes CoD and spends every waking hour on it. Shoot him 6 times in the head, nothing. A flesh wound from him, gangrene and your head falls off, dead lol. I'm getting old aren't I
Here's wishing everyone who works for or is a member of this wonderful site. This is my go to site above all others for everything PlayStation. The level of knowledge, breadth of content and variety of opinions make, not only articles, but the comments section too, highly entertaining. I peruse your feed several times a day via social life on my Xperia Z3 and will continue to do so. So, bring on 2016 and your cryptic future endeavours. It's going to be a good one
Yet another month that will pass without me downloading a single game. Disappointed? A little. But as another member mentioned, if I download 5 titles I'll have easily made the subscription fee. So, I'll carry on diving in and out of Fallout, Just cause and the witcher. Should keep me busy
I have used it but not a lot, I keep forgetting to use it lol. I get too engrossed in the game I'm playing. I do wish that shareplay was implemented more. This qas one feature I was looking forward to the most. As my brother lives a fair distance away from me and often plays games that differ from my tastes, jumping in to his game to try it, or helping each other out if we ever get stuck seemed an amazing prospect. But, we very rarely use it. I loved the idea that I could play a game for free to see if I'd like it or not. As for the share button, I will continue to use it, if I remember lol
@john81 My Internet speeds are ridiculously slow. We get 2mbps tops and with no fibre optic due or virgin in our area, we're stuck with it. I too get drops, but for the most part it plays fine. My ps4 is hardwired which made a tiny difference, not much though what with our speeds. I swear dial-up would be faster lol
I used to use my vita a lot with the remote play function. But since upgrading to a Sony Xperia Z3, I now remote play on that, using a dualshock 4, which, in my opinion, is far better than the vita controls
How can the witcher wild hunt be so low. I mean, come on, fez is higher lol. No Fifa games either. There are some questionable games on this list but it's all down to personal preference.
@domiddian I must have then, cos the bugger just won't die lol. Hopefully there's a fix in the not too distant future. Saying that though, dirty funds still sits incomplete in my list of tasks grrrr. Still, neither detract from one of my top five games in the last few years.
I can't complete a side quest in skellige where I can't kill a werewolf. Aside from that I'm extremely happy with the game and the developers. Still so much left to do and now the first expansion is due out. Where will I ever find the time to play these quality games that are out/due out?

Re: Celebrate the Season with Free Festive PS4 Theme
The European ps store's theme list is rather lacking compared to the American one so I will most definitely be using this one.

@Maxamus yup, same here, really hoped there would be a fix by now. Mind you, I'm still waiting for update 1.09 lol
