The apps on the LG TV I got are trash so I use the PS5 Pro for my apps and my 4K discs

As long as the governments of this world refuse to do anything or be bought off, things like this will continue. Not just in gaming, but in all sectors where corporate culture is out of control. Companies would LOVE for AI to take over. Less workers they’d have to pay, but if so many lose their jobs, how will they be able to sustain? With everyone out of work, who’s gonna have money to buy anything? That’s a hard lesson that’s gonna come for all these companies that are chopping jobs like we’d chop onions for a meal. Xbox should’ve learned it already with how little consoles they’ve sold. Instead, owning basically half the industry have given them an ego matched by only a few. First they raise their console prices to astronomical numbers to be even more expensive than their competitors despite selling so few, now they are basically slashing jobs and cancelling major projects. They seem very content to just license out their name and port their content so they can just ride everyone else’s coattails. At least Nintendo can get away with it because to play Nintendo, it has to be on a Nintendo system and their fan base is rabid. Xbox, you don’t even need a console. You can just play it on your TV, your Steam Deck, even your internet browser. There’s literally no need to buy anything Xbox related other than a subscription. Gaming will never die, however things are gonna have to scale down by a lot in order to survive in the modern era.

OF COURSE it's gonna. The base console was $500 and the Pro is $700. Most expensive Playstation ever is the biggest money maker? SHOCKER!

Not to mention that you HAVE to have a Roblox account to use Guilded. That's another reason their user numbers are blown up too.

@Perturbator that’s why they should’ve made it mandatory that you were a PS Plus Premium member for a certain amount of time. Make the sales invite only to those folks.

@ShogunRok I own BOTH Knack and Knack II. Loved those games. Wish they updated the mobile app because that used to help out a LOT in getting parts for the game.

If a game is going to have microtransactions like this then it should not be a full priced title.

If they would've sold the game for like $40-50, then maybe I'd grab it. But for $70-80? No way!

Especially when you can't play offline, can't keep your save on your console, so if there's a problem with their server or your connection, you're pretty much SOL.

SO SOOOOO glad I didn’t buy this tripe. Supposed to be a PS5 showcase but it’s also going to PS4, was not supposed to be any DLC, but now there is. I truly feel bad for people who paid $100 for the “Ascended Edition”…😬

Getting it for my Xbox Series X, especially with the rumors of poor performance on PlayStation units and the fact that there’s no real way to upgrade the PS5’s internal storage. With the Xbox One X limited edition as well as most of the promotion being for the Xbox version, my guess is that’s the console the most effort went into. On top of all that, I got it for free as since I got the Series S and PS5 from GameStop, I got two $30 game coin(which actually gave me 60,000 points for PowerUp Rewards). So GameStop basically paid for my copy.

This is why these YouTubers and Richie Riches shouldn’t be getting these systems for free. They should only be given to actual press and journalists to review. To these people, systems like this are another trinket rather than something they actually use.

Street Fighter 6, Super Street Fighter 6, Ultra Street Fighter 6? Yeah, that sounds more like a joke than actually legit. Like mocking the fact that we know there’s gonna be at least three versions of the same game.

I got Miles Morales Ultimate, Call of Duty, Godfall, Sackboy, Demon’s Souls, and Devil May Cry 5 SE for launch day. So that’ll probably be the whole thing right there.

Can you just plug in your old PS4 Hard Drive and play it that way? Also, did Sony FINALLY add the ability to plug up to two external drives so you can move data back and forth from both(i.e. if upgrading to a bigger hard drive)?

I don’t see the big deal. Personally I wish to see this. Makes the presentation more realistic in my eyes. For sports games, it makes sense. Other games? Not so much. But for games like Madden, UFC, MLB The Show, I wonder why we don’t see more of this. But for those that don’t like it, there should be an option to turn it off for sure.
