I loved fight night round 3 back in the day, wasn't so keen on the last fight night game though. Will probably get this at somepoint as been waiting for a good boxing game for ages, but I've got a few other games I'm currently playing through first.
@LowDefAl Cheers for the reply. Yeah now you mention it I'm sure I have the ps4 version DLC in my library from when it was gave away, I just never bothered to download it. So I think I will buy the Β£10 upgrade and play the original again and DLC before getting forbidden west at somepoint.
Cool, I will be happy to upgrade as it is a good few years since I played the original and I've not yet played forbidden west. Does anyone know if this includes the dlc too as I haven't played that yet. Also I hope the trophy's don't automatically transfer over? as I would like to get them again.
@Steel76 Yeah fair play, both sides can be annoying. I just would prefer games to stay exclusive to the playstation platform. Console wars is tiring enough and now PC is a part of it too since Microsoft and now Sony put games on PC. Maybe I'm just showing my age and don't like change lol
As long as Sony dosent go day and date with PC then I don't care how well or bad they sell on PC. Or actually selling bad might be a good thing and prevent the possibility of Sony going day and date with PC. Sorry if I seem a little negative but I just find the PC crowd very irritating, even more so since Sony started to release their games on PC. Although to be fair, a lot of the time it is probably just xbox gamers trolling and pretending to be PC master race π€ π
I never played the first two Timespittlers games, but I loved future perfect and had it for both gamecube and ps2. If it was a enhanced remastered version then I would consider getting it for ps5, however I think it will probably look terrible on a modern TV and ruin my positive memory of the game lol
I was considering upgrading at up to Β£600 with a disk drive. But I think I will probably pass on this and stick to my physical ps5 I got around a year ago on sale. Also my LGC1 is only 48 Inch so lower resolution probably dosent look as bad than on a larger screen size. Maybe in a year or so if there is a disk model on sale but there probably won't be π€·ββοΈ
Cool, will definitely buy this even if only for the single player. I loved playing worms W.M.D on ps4 and still play it regularly through backwards compatible on my ps5 against my friend on ps4. I sometimes play online against random people too, however people seem to be either too good or rage quitters when not π π
Lol, I just make a comment about this in the article about the game selling well in China. I would be interested to know what the ps4 sold on China. In Japan I don't expect ps5 to sell more than 10 million which is similar numbers than both ps3 and ps4 did in Japan I think π€
I wouldn't be surprised if ps5 ends up selling more in China than it does in Japan by the end of the Generation. Although I have no idea how well the ps4 did in China? But I think Asian markets could help make up for the slight decline in sales from Europe this Generation. Although this comment is probably more suited to a site like vgchartz π€ π Although to be honest this is the only gaming site I bother to make comments on. I did at one point make comments on n4g but I got banned for making a comment that offended a xbox fanboy, but I can't even remember what I said but I'm sure it wasn't anything too bad π€·ββοΈ
@x3King84
Yeah it has been a strange generation so far with lack of exciting new game releases. However I only got my ps5 around a year ago and there is quite a few games I have yet to purchase that are already out. So in a way I'm in no rush to see new stuff but looking forward to seeing what Sony has cooking though.
I'm quite certain they already started again for me a while ago. But I'm sure it was just one email after I add the games rather that two or three if I decide to add them all each month. However I always delete the emails anyway lol.
@UnlimitedSevens Cool, I've never tried the Spotify feature on ps5 to be honest and didn't on ps4 either. I've never been too bothered with listening to music while playing games, but I do in racing games though. I used to love the soundtrack on Destruction Derby 2 back in the day.
Nice one, I played the first one for ps5 on playstation plus and loved it so much I got the platinum, will happily buy the sequel. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the music in the game.
@Axelay71 If it gets a big price drop ( which I don't see happening ) and better software support then I might consider it at somepoint. I would prefer it to be completely cordless though lol. But I understand it requires a physical connection, and I imagine it is probably easy to wrap up neatly when not in use with the single cable.
@NEStalgia That's good to know it has less wires and mess. I think if it becomes a lot cheaper and has more software support from Sony then I might consider a purchase at somepoint.
@Axelay71 VR is something I would like to try, however I don't know anyone who has PSVR2 to give it a try. I do sometimes suffer with travel sickness so don't want to invest in something than expensive without being certain it won't make me feel dizzy. Also as someone with OCD then I think all the extra wires and mess would drive me mad π although to my understanding the PSVR2 has less wires etc than the first one.
@EMSANE I must admit it does look like a impressive piece of hardware. If it had better support from Sony and if the price was a little lower then it would have probably sold a lot better.
@Axelay71 I can appreciate that it is disappointing for people that got a PSVR2 headset, that Sony dosent seem to be supporting it properly. However after what happened with PSVITA (which admittedly I didn't own either) then people shouldn't be too supriced really. Did Sony do a better Job supporting the first PSVR? Nice, I was wanting to get FC 24 for ps5 as not got a football game for it yet, although I have a ps4 fifa game. Nice one, I have had this game since December and not started it yet lol. I have a LG c1, so will definitely play it at 40 fps. Other games I have yet to buy and play include God of war ragranok and horizon forbidden west, so will do the same with them too. I like higher image quality and not too sensitive to lower frame rate as long as it is stable or offers a 40 fts mode so this is perfect for me. This is a good example of waiting to play games when they are cheaper and or better than when first released.
Shame it is not a new game. I love rayman legends, I have it on ps4 so will probably play it again sometime on ps5, I just recently also got legends for my switch lite on sale and it is great fun in portable too
@TrannosaurusBex I think sony stopped making ps4 pro but they continued to make the standard ps4 in limited quantities or something like that. I still have my ps4 pro, however now I have a ps5 I'm planning on trying to sell my ps4 pro if I can.
I think it was a waste of money when sony bought bungie, especially with no exclusive games. Perhaps this is a good thing if sony takes total control and we might get a decent single player exclusive game from them, or perhaps it will be playstation/ pc, but not xbox.
I think the Tim guy was probably just meaning games like call of duty/ Minecraft which are obviously already on playstation. I highly doubt either sony or Nintendo would allow game pass on their platforms. Although I could see Microsoft bringing more games in general to both playstation and Nintendo platforms.
I'm happy with this selection to be honest. What I love about playstation plus, apart from playing worms wmd online with my mate and the occasional online on other games is it encourages me to try new games that I wouldn't bother with otherwise. I've been enjoying wreckfest on playstation plus and just a few trophies away from the platinum. I also quite fancy downloading and trying the ps5 golf game that was given the other month too.
I was going to wait until the new design was revealed until I got a ps5, but I decided to get one the other month on sale for Β£400. I didn't like the design at first but it Is growing on me a bit, it is the fin parts than bothered me mainly but they don't stand out too much when horizontal. I think the new one does look slightly better with the shorter fins sticking out, but apart from that there is not much difference.
I love the traditional worms games, so hopefully they can still make them. I have put hundreds of hours into W.M.D, I hope Microsoft dosent gets its grubby paws on team 17, but if they need accuring then hopefully someone else and they keep it on playstation.
@GamingFan4Lyf
Thanks for the advice mate, I will definitely play around with the profile settings. I normally only use my headphones late at night or when the weather is very hot and my fan is on full blast, so i can hear over the loud fan lol
I managed to find the settings for 3D audio through tv/ soundbar. Although I turned it off after a bit to be honest, lol. My living room isn't that large and the sound from my sound bar does a good job of filling the room with high quality sound. I'm not that keen on virtual surround sound to be honest, I have a LG C1 and it also has a virtual surround sound using AI but I wasn't bothered using that either.
@GamingFan4Lyf Cheers for the reply. When I set up the ps5 and looked at audio settings, I selected tv speakers rather than sounbar as I read somewhere that it is better to do that than to selected soundbar, if the soundbar is Just used on its own and not a surround set up, or I read something similar to that. However I'm quite sure than the 3D option is blanked out, and can't be selected, I will have to check again, but perhaps it could be to do with the latest firmware update
Regarding the headphones, I didn't notice much difference in stereo sound vs 3D mode. Perhaps I need to give the different pre sets a good try to find the right one. Although maybe I haven't played any games yet which best demonstrate the 3D sound, so far I'm playing astro bot and rachet and clank.
I have a question if anyone knows the answer. I recently got a ps5 in the sale and I also got the wireless pulse 3D headphones. To be honest I don't notice much difference between the surround sound or standard with the headphones, perhaps I'm using the wrong setting or something. Anyway my question is to do with the tempest audio through my soundbar, I use a bose soundbar but it is not surround set up. Do I need to do something in the settings to get virtual 3D tempest through the soundbar? I do have the sound output set to tv speakers on my ps5 as always use the soundbar instead of the tv speakers. Although to be honest the sound on my bose soundbar is excellent anyway and I can't imagine any kind of virtual support sound making much difference π€
@Rob_230 I could be wrong but I don't think ps5 was on sale in July in the usa like it was and currently is here in the UK. We are already in August, so if the rumoured 50 dollar discount starts this month, then it won't have a effect on July's circana are whatever the stupid word is π€ π
@Darylb88 Interesting, thanks for the replys. I do wonder though if that will be a mistake for sony, because they mainly sell the physical version anyway. Although without the option it will force more people to go digital. Do you think Β£400 will be the new price for digital only going forward?
@Darylb88 I think sony will probably still sell it in two different versions, with disk drive and without. With how you explain it then it would still be more simple for sony to manufacture the single unit and just add the disk drive and appropriate covers when putting it together π€ it does seem a bit of a hassle though for people buying the digital version and upgrading it to a disk drive but makes sense for sony i sopose. Yeah I will probably try and get one in the new week or so on sale.
@Darylb88 That is a bit disappointing then if that Is all the new model is going to be. I was hoping it would at least look a little smaller and compact / neater. Perhaps they will bring out a slim model when they launch ps5 pro next year, like they did with ps4 slim / ps4 pro. I might consider getting a ps5 in the next few weeks then at the discounted price, if there is no difference with the new rumoured model. I could always trade it in if there is actually a ps5 slim this year and it looks much better π€ π
In the article it says the rumoured new model for this year is not a slim and is to to replace the current one. I would be a little disappointed if it just looks the same as it does now with the only difference being the detachable drive. Part of the reason I haven't got a ps5 yet, is because I hate the design, also if the new design for this year is similar in shape and size as it already is, then the pro one next year must be massive lol.
If the rumoured pricing is right, then it will probably be Β£400 or Β£420 or something similar. Β£404 dosent sound right, or maybe that is just my ocd making me think like that π€ actually if I had my way I would do away entirely with anything costing .99 and instant round everything off to the nearest pound π· π

Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Release Date Reportedly Slated for November 2024
In the article it says the rumoured new model for this year is not a slim and is to to replace the current one. I would be a little disappointed if it just looks the same as it does now with the only difference being the detachable drive. Part of the reason I haven't got a ps5 yet, is because I hate the design, also if the new design for this year is similar in shape and size as it already is, then the pro one next year must be massive lol.
Re: PS5 Console Discounts Set to Expand to USA and UK, It's Claimed
If the rumoured pricing is right, then it will probably be Β£400 or Β£420 or something similar. Β£404 dosent sound right, or maybe that is just my ocd making me think like that π€ actually if I had my way I would do away entirely with anything costing .99 and instant round everything off to the nearest pound π· π
