Re: Stellar Blade Dev Expects to Sell More Copies on PC Than PS5

Specky

@CielloArc @IntrepidWombat
That's kinda sad. Hopefully this will expand in the future somehow. Especially when games like Bethesda's rely so much on them.

The only mods on my radar are the ones for the ones for Stalker at the end of this year, so curious how that will go

Re: PS5 Open World Crimson Desert Unleashes Even More Gameplay, Big Boss Battles Look Crazy

Specky

I love it. Very interested in this! Shadow of the Colossus is a favourite of mine.

Though isn't it funny that you just can't expect games to have the same physics, animations, feel and weight (of the colossi, of the falls, etc) as games 3 generations ago? I give them an A for effort though, because it took way too long for a game to have that kinda combat. I don't count Monster Hunter or Dragon's Dogma, because their monster climbing combat is laughable

Re: Concord's Platinum Trophy Looks Very Approachable on PS5

Specky

@trev666

  • SH2 has hardcore fans, they're sacred they'll mess up the remake.
  • SW Outlaws just looks like the same old Ubisoft crap along with all the typical political nonsense they put in there and attack their fans
  • Concord is just so utterly wrong, pathetic, political and generic. Crafted by CEO's who forced down all the extreme activism in there. Not an ounce of creativity in this Overwatch copycat.

Sony also canceled Factions 2 and dumped their money on this godforsaken dogsh*t. People have had enough. Let this game and studio crash and burn out of existence

Re: Rumour: Xbox's Indiana Jones Game Coming to PS5 in First Half 2025

Specky

So Indie could have an amazing game like the original films. Serious parts along with the wit and cockiness.
Put that in a word where you fight Nazi's, truly explore it, make it interesting and I'm sold.

But we all know that won't ever happen in today's world, so who cares if this is xbox exclusive lol

Edit: Well, I was wrong about the game and am pleasantly surprised. My interest has piqued.

Re: Judge for Yourself with Official PS5 Black Myth: Wukong Gameplay

Specky

I like the dynamic camera. Looks like something From couldn't even do after a gazillion games with their static camera.
This looks more fluid in terms of animations, camera and movement.

Also, games that are crucified for some weird political ideology (they're being paid for their agenda btw like the Screenrant review and the absolute nonsense that turned out to be false by that one loony at IGN) are the ones I'm gonna support 😊

Re: Until Dawn PS5 Is Priced at $60 / £60

Specky

LMFAO that is hilarious. Good luck Sony on your endeavours. I'm not gonna be a loyal part of it anymore

Cancelling golden projects and rehashing old crap for hilarious price tags.
They couldn't even put factions in the TLOU1 remake. Being disappointed by Sony has been a very common thing this generation

Re: Forget Yasuke, Assassin's Creed Shadows' Naoe Has Parkour Tricks and a Grappling Hook

Specky

Nobody will forget Yasuke, someone that the hack called Thomas Lockley completely made up. Changed Wikipedia records, pulled the STORY (not history) out of thin air and wrote a freaking book about it. It's all utter nonsense and the fools at Ubisoft fell for it, probably willingly.

Let's hope Japan cancels this game and doesn't import this garbage of an insult to their culture

Re: Antstream Lets You Stream 1000s of Retro Games, and It's Coming to PS5, PS4

Specky

@hi_drnick
Put it on some harddrives? Yeah I can use it forever.
Buying (a license for) a movie through Sony's "services" for instance and you "own" the movie for as long as they care.
So better service through downloading it illegally. I have way too many streaming subscriptions and blurays, so I don't care, but it's all a bunch of nonsense. Our digitally "bought" games will all be gone someday as well

Re: The Cell Saga Looks Glorious in New Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Gameplay

Specky

@AfroMario
They were good and I loved the Budokais, but do we need the same game over and over again?
All I'm asking is a good high tier game.
Xenoverse and Kakarot are cheaply made games that could and should be much better. Single A games at best.

Flying in Kakarot is like it's a PS2 Sonic game. Freaking rings everywhere to collect. Cheap open world, crappy gameplay, same old story, same old combat, nothing new at all.

I do skip them though. I'm a huge fan, but they're not doing it justice. If I was in a time machine from PS2 til now I'd be like
"Wtf is this!? How are we getting games like Arkham Knight and Spider-Man 2 while DBZ is still the same old crap!?"

Re: The Cell Saga Looks Glorious in New Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Gameplay

Specky

We will see slightly improved renditions of the same crap every few years over and over again until the day we die.
But we will never get the openworld DBZ game ala Arkham Knight with the quality we truly deserve. That's beyond depressing.

Here's this thing you've been playing since PS2, only slightly prettier and the DBZ "fan" base lose their collective minds! Yay!

Re: Cancellation of The Last of Us Online Was 'Not a Bloodless Endeavour'

Specky

@Arthur_Morgan
>Games like Overwatch, Fortnite, CS GO, PUBG, Warzone, Rainbow 6, and GTAO and also Apex I might add.

Those are all quality games or pioneers or at the right place, right time like Siege. They all had great gameplay to support a live service model.

>Anthem, Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, Multiversus, and Marvel's Avengers

These are all garbage, unfinished games that were advertised to have stellar campaigns like SS and Avengers and then delivered something so vile, it turned their whole fanbases against them. Or in SS's case, fired their whole writing staff for god knows what kind of incompetent creatures write for them now.

It's not a coincidence that quality games succeed and the garbage unfinished, insult to their fans fail. Concord is so utterly pathetic and generic that it's DOA.

Factions had a lot going for it and they were close to showing more. They started showing concept art, etc. They had an idea and they've got the experience from Uncharted and Last of Us multiplayers which were are stellar, especially their last one.

It was probably costing them a lot and these hacks like Jim Ryan are obviously very short sighted and only want revenue now. Why would he care about some live service game raking in money when he's gone?
Concord was the safer, cheaper option and it's by the numbers as all hell. It's literally a copycat of something that works. It's not inventive like Factions would've been.

This is cowardice from Sony. You can't work 4 years on something WITH ASSETS YOU ALREADY HAVE from the singleplayer game and deliver nothing.
Naughty Dog pumps out the greatest games ever made in less time.

This is incompetence, toothless behaviour from Sony that's been utterly characteristic of them since PS4. I hate it with a passion. Good riddance to a once great brand.

Re: Cancellation of The Last of Us Online Was 'Not a Bloodless Endeavour'

Specky

@Arthur_Morgan
It was proven over and over again that a good live service game that is polished and made by talented people is a success.
Factions 2 was something people actually wanted. A BR with the stellar TLOU2 gameplay in an apocalypse world. Sign me up.
They had a recipe for MASSIVE success and THEY WERE ALMOST THERE!

Instead the incompetent fools poor tons of money in some generic Overwatch copycat live service game and cancel Factions 2. I just cannot get over it. I am pissed beyond belief. It seriously makes me give up all hope in modern gaming and the downward spiral Sony has been taking since PS4.

Re: 10 Years Ago, Hideo Kojima's P.T. Scared the Hell Out of Us on PS4

Specky

@LifeGirl
No, that's definitely not "it". What a silly comment.
This game was laughed at when it was revealed live during the show. People didn't know what it was, thought it was silly.
People played the demo and started getting intrigued.
People were helping eachother out with clues in forums.
The game was a mystery and got viral. People wanted to finish the game so bad and when they finally did, BOOM a Kojima and Del Toro Silent Hill game.
Absolute madness, I still get goosebumps.

Freaking Fortnite? Get out with this nonsensical crap

Re: 10 Years Ago, Hideo Kojima's P.T. Scared the Hell Out of Us on PS4

Specky

@RBMango
Goosebumps running up my spine at that moment.
Absolute masterclass.

People think it's so cool to hate on Kojima nowadays, because he was seen as a God for a good while, but aside from the sometimes cringey cutscenes, he goes above and beyond.
His games always have such unique moments and immense quality you just won't find anywhere else.

Easy to call Death Stranding a walking sim (while it had a very fun gameplay loop/ design) and go back to your gazillionth generic shooter

Re: Cancellation of The Last of Us Online Was 'Not a Bloodless Endeavour'

Specky

Good. I hope more heads roll in this incompetent company.
Played factions yesterday for the millionth time and this just makes my blood boil.
FOUR years in development and you couldn't at the very least release something basic like the first factions!?

That alone would've made it better than 99% of the multiplayer games out there. God what a bunch of incompetent utter fools. What a disgraceful sh*t company. Been a fan since day 1, but they're running it into the ground and frankly, good riddance.

Re: Suicide Squad the Villain Behind Warner Bros Gaming Revenue Drop

Specky

Hogwarts is not a tough act to follow. They had already done it and better so with the Arkham trilogy and even Origins.
This is just the typical modern day gaming fumble that didn't focus on a quality game, rather all the monetisation and politics around it.

Good riddance the once great Rocksteady.
