Astro Bot Rescue Mission on PSVR was a top 3 PS4 game, so I’m not surprised this is a 10/10.

Preordered and preinstalled, ready to go!

It’s a game I wouldn’t normally like, yet I’ve sunk hours into the Xbox version, then again on the Apple and Android versions, then immediately bought it again and all the DLC the other day on PlayStation.

Spent most of yesterday doing it all over again on the PlayStation Portal while I had the football and F1 on. Perfect game and perfect device for it.

I remember saying it was easily a 10/10 when it came to Xbox Game Pass. The game play is amazingly addictive. It’s still an easy 10/10 today.

Just announce the thing so we can preorder. Haha.

@Rich33 It came to Dreamcast and Arcade (moved from CPS2 to Naomi) and had a GBA port. The GBA port added 3 characters from Capcom vs SNK 2. Eagle, Yun and Maki, but had to cut some stuff like music, sound and stages to fit on the cart.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max then came to the PSP with an extra character Ingrid and some extra modes.

Love the Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3 games. Shame it’s not Max/Double Upper, but still cool.

I can’t wait, really hope it’s out this year. Preorder money at the ready.

I’ve had £40 off them in vouchers without buying more subscriptions (already subscribed until 2027). So it doesn’t really affect me. The coins are a nice little bonus but they wouldn’t affect my buying habits.

As much as I’d like to to play them now, I have too much to keep me busy and way more on the horizon, so I’m happy to wait for now. Would be great if they did add trophy support.

@ZeD I don’t know. Some of those 9p games look triple A to me.

Really hope they patch trophies in the TimeSplitters games. Would be nice to unlock some stuff while playing through them again.

Outrun 3 and also fully playable in VR.

Instabuy for me. We need more racers. Would love it if EA let Flat2VR get the VR modes of their games running on other platforms.

Not too interested in this, but Flatout looked brilliant from Flat2VR Studios. Really hope it all goes well for them and they keep delivering.

@GymratAmarillo It’s been in development for a few years now. Bungie announced it in August 2019 and the image in this article got released in August last year.

If “Gummy Bears” final name is actually “Matter“ (both trademarked in 2018) according to Microsoft documents in the recent FTC lawsuit, it was scheduled for release in 2025.

Although based on trends over the past few years, you can imagine a world where it’s been rebooted internally 20 times by now. Haha.

When I saw that heading “Bigger than Borderlands” I almost choked. Luckily he wasn't referring to the franchise. Haha

It’s the only Borderlands game I haven’t been able to finish, I managed about 2 hours. I liked the Tiny Tina character in the real Borderlands games, but this one just gave me a headache. I also didn’t like the setting or weapons.

First “special edition” PS5 controller I’ll buy. Take my money!

I can’t wait, loved all the Borderlands stuff, except for Wonderlands. So as long as it stays far away from that world I’m all in.

If they aren’t sure what to do with it and want them on an ongoing basis, let devs pitch for it. There will be so many teams with amazing ideas for Mega Man across genres and dimensional planes.

Preordered and really looking forward to it. This and Astro Bot will be a great few weeks.

I do love me some power washing. Haha. But this reminded me that I really need to go back and do those few time/water trials needed for the Platinum.

Well my money is ready and waiting to drop on the preorder. No need for more than two months notice for something like this, so it not out of the realm of possibility just yet.

Slightly off topic but if anyone was thinking about getting Suicide Squad at that price and they own a PC, it’s currently free via Amazon Prime.

A few other decent games going free on there for next few days too.

Seems to be back in a lot of Asian countries and people are reporting points have been updated as per purchases made during downtime.

Astro Bot, Star Wars, Test Drive and Lego Horizon for me.

Would love some more tracks to race around in VR.

Really looking forward to this. Love the Borderlands franchise. Would be great if we could get a port of Borderlands 2 or any other Borderlands game to PSVR2 as well.

@FinneasGH That’s how I felt with Astro Bot Rescue Mission, easily one of the PS4’s greatest games.

It brought back all the memories I had playing Mario 64, realising that it had changed the way we play platformers.

That VR game was mind blowing.

A massive shame a lot of people will never get to play it. Saying that, a lot of people will have never even heard of it.

I was watching a video about the new Astro Bot a couple of days ago, and the guy said people have been demanding a full Astro Bot game and now we finally get one that isn’t just another Playroom. Shocking the amount of people that don’t even know Rescue Mission exists.

Astro Bot looks cool and I’m hoping that Aliens VR game turns out well. The rest wasn’t for me.

I mentioned it in one of the other articles. I bought an ROG Ally last year and spent the best part of a day installing launchers, signing up to new stuff, resetting passwords on old PC accounts. While it would’ve been nice to avoid, it wasn’t an issue. Why is this suddenly the biggest problem in gaming?

@ORO_ERICIUS Yeah, exactly. I don’t think I’ve ever been super hyped and super annoyed at a game reveal before. Haha. Day one purchase.

@KoopaTheGamer They had a live event with “influencers” playing the game about a year ago. It looked ok. I’ll get it regardless, I’ve always enjoyed the Test Drive series. The Duel, Off Road, 5, Unlimited. All janky but fun games.

Great to see some PSVR2 games shoved in there. I own them already but good to see some support for it.

Some great stuff came from that Studio over the years. Blood and Truth was amazing.
