@PlayNation5 Piracy is not preservation. You do not have original source code, design documents, or discarded builds or assets. You do not have original engines per port just an emulation or rom that is not accurate to how it ran or performed including certain bugs in certain systems that for instance gave the fog effect in silent hill

@Dogbreath Very uninformed take. Base PS5 vs PS5 pro will have less in common than the handheld and ps6 home console. Machine learning focused chipset will be in both unlike PS5 vs pro. PS5 will be base line of industry instead of PS4 going forward. Series s is not a part of this conversation anymore. This was the whole sales pitch from amd to Sony. The portable will not hold back the industry or have missing features of games. A streaming only handheld is not viable outside of very select markets

The PS5 pro has machine learning and pssr 2 that series x is incapable of and most base PS5 games run better than x because of optimization and tools better better on ps5 and pro and rockstar and Sony are working together to achieve better results. And no they are no worried about parity. Xbox no longer has the sway and no where near the consoles to matter

@16BitHero Completely outdated argument. The global south is moving to console China is moving to console and PC is becoming unaffordable and parts are becoming scarce. Mobile, tablets, pc, PC handhelds, mini PCs, all these things have been the end of consoles and non of them have done it no matter how many in the industry even still to this day say consoles are dead or dying. Ive been watching giant bomb and ign since they were frat houses for Xbox 360 bros and before that reading tips and tricks and PlayStation magazine. PC has never been the answer and neither has Xbox. @16BitHero Then that means you are in a very small percentage of PC players. Only 10% can play at a PS5 level and only 5% at a PS5 pro level according to steams own research. And that's not even taking into account no matter how powerful some glitch or bug is going to make it unplayable for months

Capcom and square did this during Xbox 360 so that in their words, PlayStation wouldn't have a monopoly and iron grip on them. Resulted in Capcom almost going under and square putting all their money in 3ds games and they almost went bankrupt
