Ff14, genshin impact and call of duty are telling players to upgrade because of how many people still game only on PS4 and the games going forward can not run on the hard disk that need SSD. PlayStation has been doing this since 1995 and are the best at it. What marketing degrees do you have

@SMJ were you never there for a transition year before the next console comes out? The PS5 is 6 years old technology without any machine learning in it. Can your 6 yr old graphics card run new big budget games without a hitch? Didn't think so.

@Sweetz it has sold 225 million copies, and the only people that don't play the story are streamers and PC kids. Gta6 will be even bigger.

@rjejr It is a miracle compared to what you have to pay to make a comparable PC, and then you'd have to wait a year after it came out on the miracle pro. If you didn't play 5 at launch on PS3 you have no idea what this game is going to do for sales of PlayStation, 900 or not

@THEBrew Genshin Impact, Call of Duty, and Final Fantasy 14 can not run on the PS4 going forward because of the lack of an SSD. However they also all know that when GTA 6 comes out all the remaining PS4 users will get a PS5. And it will continue to sell even as the ps6 handheld and ps6 console come out.

@Questionable_Duck Xbox sold 20 to 25 million consoles. Xbox 360 sold around 40 to 50 million with another 40 million being red ring of death replacement or the millions they gave away in various raffles and some sneaky math. Xbox one sold 27 million and Xbox series is about 25 to 28 million. There is no demand and has never been and is even less now.
