Nope, I'm genuinely made up! This is perfect, I wanna double up on everything, since I rarely go back to games I've platinumed as the incentive to do so has been diminished somewhat, but if there are no shared trophy lists that's perfect in my book

Or "there were PREVIOUSLY no concrete plans...". God I'm so bored waiting for more PS5 news I've turned into one of those internet fools who picks apart grammar/spelling for my own self satisfied smugness!

@RevengeFan exactly my thoughts. I have 99 on my wishlist and a few others noted on my phone (since Sony won't let you have anymore on the wishlist... Hope that's been sorted on the new store!) But yeah I really don't wanna have to screenshot my current wishlist and then have to re-add each one individually on the new store. Why do you make it so hard/awkward/finicky for me to give you my money sony?!?

Trophies not carrying over to PS5 is a bonus for me, means I could platinum Maneater on PS4 then again on PS5. For example I was gutted that Final Fantasy X shared trophy profiles between PS3, 4 and Vita, because I would have loved to play it through 3 times for 3 platinums but couldn't as they shared the same profile. I hope a few other games that have free PS5 upgrades also don't share trophy profiles but maybe I'm in the minority if most people would like to upgrade and carry on from where they left off, trophy-wise

@Party_Cannon just tried this with supersampling off but still no luck. Super frustrating this!

@GamerDad66 nice idea, I've just tried it with boost mode turned off but still no luck. Weirdly the screen that displays when the camera can't find you is shown, although I'm in the same position as always for other psvr games and it finds me no problem with those, if I duck way further down than needed with any other game, it finds the headset and then switches to an infinite black screen. Strange one. Hopefully they pick up on it and patch it soon.

Not sure if it's just me but since downloading my ps4 pro is constantly crashing or getting error reports as I load the game. Tried 6 times but no luck. Was really excited for this!

@naruball yeah you're spot on scalpers would be all over it no matter what. It's just that I feel that'd be the situation no matter what, so leaving that aside, they should have stuck to the whole "we'll give you plenty of notice" thing and set a proper date. You'd still have all the scalpers grabbing whatever they can, but in between that you'd have the decent fans who just want a shot at getting one too. Hopefully many have managed to get one and not too many scalpers have. I'm hoping the number on eBay at the minute is a small percentage compared to those who genuinely just want to buy one

I feel guilty from talking from a seemingly privileged position of having several pre-orders confirmed (not for scalping, for family members) but this genuinely was such a mess that as much as I wanna say "hopefully they'll learn for next time", next time will be in about 7 years so I'm guessing this mess will be forgotten and it'll be a mess again. Sony seemed to wait so long for literally any details that now they need to realise they should be more open about the whole thing. Maybe not the price, as that would impact Microsoft aswell, but atleast say a few months in advance "look, October 1st is when it goes live" not matter all the other details, reveal them over time leading up to that, but give us an actual date properly next time!

I don't think I've ever fell in love with a piece of plastic as much as I did when this was first revealed. Obviously it's down to personal choice but I absolutely love it, it's beautiful and I'll never apologize for loving this thing more than I'll ever love the look of any other piece of technology 😂
