Re: Here's a New Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 Screenshot

OhYeahNahYeah

@Dominatso

How about we stop arbitrarily politicising games to the point that it undermines what a games is: fun. The rest of gaming should not have to suffer because the SJW ***** comes around every once in a while and dictates gaming must not be fun and must be attached to some bs agenda. As the other guy said, sorry you hate gaming, even of you do forget that miles morales is a PoC. It just goes to show how you people are never satisfied, even if you get exactly what you want. Grow up a bit.

Re: Everyone's Talking About PS5's Price Again

OhYeahNahYeah

Or you could, you know, wait until a real announcement is made and cut the asinine speculation from someyimes dumb sources. Sony made a mint and if they want to invest in the future, then surely Β£450 hete in England, just for example, should be fine considering how much they will earn back from the first party devs they are heavily invested in and seem to have historically printed money for Sony. It seems to be Sony won't have any issues with price and especially won't after a 'slim' revision comes about a couple years after. I don't exactly know where this bs cam about that Sony will be the only one that's more expensive at face value, especially when xbox seem to have more riding on Hardware and not much else.

Regardless, the person behind the RE Village comment was quick to rectify their claims and state that it is more of an early issue with getting things working, and tbh the dev keynote went into a lot of detail as to how there's more GPU headroom and an architecture easier to develop for which seems contrary to this fanboy "news" fodder paraded around as fact. The simple fact is a 15% difference isn't much and doesn't account for potential performance bottlenecks. Back to the point: we actually saw RE 3 remake run better on playstation
with xbox having technical issues to do with frames off the bat with more horsepower vs ps4 pro.

With all this said, no TF should be taken as an absolute indication of performance and especially should not be compared since, for example, one ps4 TF would logically be less efficient and less powerful than a PS5. So, between both consoles having custom architecture and requirements tailored to squeeze every last performance from that configuration, the TF buzzword is simply fanboy gymanstics irrispective of how tech horsepower actually works- because the fact is most consoles owners/ fanboys have no clue, yet they lover convenient marketing that doesn't show the full picture (pun intended).

The truth is we will likley see little difference and the reality settling in thay both systems have different ways if reaching a similar goal. However, we will obviously know more with a direct performance test and with teardowns. On a related note: I see these irate and downright impatient people think that the really need to chill. I mean, I see people paying upwards of a grand for phones these days...so, who really cares?

Lastly If, If the platform is good and offers the best games (or simply games people csre about and value) then an investment proposition for 7 years is not to bad. To no finer point, in spite of the OG ps3 price, it still manged to go down as a memorable and successful system according to sales with good games and smart marketing- I also strongly belive the multiple revisions and game bundles helped massively.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Ghost of Tsushima Settles for Second as The Last of Us 2 Exits Top 10

OhYeahNahYeah

@Noob_Saibot

That's the nature of the beast when you're a victim of your own success and that decline isn't necessarily an indication of the games quality; rather, contrary to some highly biased opinions that only serve to fuel an arbitrary flame war, what comes up must inevitably come down. So, as it stands, sharp sales follow a sharp decline. Anyway, these two titles mean big business for the Sony brand and the charts further prove that Sony and also Nintendo are unstoppable forces dominating the market within their respective "niches", for lack of a better word. All in all, this just serves to emphasise how complacent Xbox are with playing tennis without a net with their games as a services bs and this hardware hyperbole, and the vapourware consolation prize they called their weak "gaming showcase". I guess they neglect that good games sell consoles, not promises of hardware potential that's not only bested by PC, but also rendered redundant by it, too. I digress, it would be nice if the glory days of xbox's 360 were to make an appearance, but i think honest competition is long dead for the boys in green, sadly.

Re: Oh Boy, There'll Be a Backlash to This Marvel's Avengers Trailer

OhYeahNahYeah

Controversial option: the game looks mediocre and bland regardless of what platform it is on. Personally I don't think square enix was the brand to handle this game and what did people expect when the establishef spiderman copyright withstands? The majority of people own a ps4 anyway for this to be inconsequential, assuming is actually sells well. Personally it probably would have been less controversial if this project was approached as an exclusive tieing in with not only the MCU, but the hit PS4 title: spiderman.

Re: Rumour: PS5 Controller's Battery Life 3 to 4 Hours Longer than DualShock 4

OhYeahNahYeah

of course some sooks have issues with basically anything, even of it is an improvement. I think some mouthbreathers need to consider that nobody with a job, life and responsibilities is going to get their panties in a bunch over what was a perfectly acceptable capacity with an average of 6 or 7 hours. Regardless, with the light bar on dim, it was more than service able. I think nobody actually considered the fact you can use the thing while it is charging near an outlet or via an inexpensive extra long cable. Needless to say, get over it and stop being whiny. I mean, since when did gamers get so damn annoying?!!!

Re: Can You Use a PS4 Controller on PS5?

OhYeahNahYeah

@cali_kush70

' it literally looks like a Xbox controller with PlayStation buttons on it which is a shame' which is supposed to mean? I mean, it doesn’t in any way, and in fact, looks like a natural progression with ergonomics at the forefront this time. Bigger =/= xbox. I clearly knew what you were implying. Regardless, DS5 retains the same features, meaning the DS4 support is redundant and you need to move on, as I said before. Don't read into it too much, you know, before making your problem my problem. I don't care what you think is perfect or not, it logically stands to reason that the DS4 wasn't. Move on. I also have no idea what necessitated the doubt. Your options are exactly move on or go 3rd party. Nobody cares about this arbitrary, pal. Lmfao.

Re: Can You Use a PS4 Controller on PS5?

OhYeahNahYeah

@Rhigvili

Well, with all due respect, stop being a cheapskate and pony up 50 buck for a new one. I mean, it's not like the consoles comes with one is it? Lmfao. Most would have gotten over the ps4 and traded them in. I mean, with ps5 supporting the ps4 natively, why would you keep a ps4 and ds4 around? You'll spend more money on games anyway and if you are the person so inclined to keep things, then you can still play the same PS4 games with friends, only on a pd5 with a new, improved DS5. Just buy a new damn new controller and stop whining ffs!!! People on push Square are annoying af these days πŸ™„.

Re: Can You Use a PS4 Controller on PS5?

OhYeahNahYeah

@cali_kush70

Or you could just accept that things improve and progress, and that you need to stop being a whiny sook about the most pathetic/ arbitrary things. It looks nothing like an xbox controller for a fair few obviously reasons and the fact is ergonomics, regardless of opinion, generally points to a similar direction. With that said, I have yet to actually meet anyone who has to stare at their controller while playing games (Wii U not withstanding). The question is what reason do you have to question the fact this is an improvement? That seems like baseless bs for the sake of justifying your opinion. Simply put: let it go. I swear gamers don't like gaming and just want x reason to whine about ***** smh. I mean, you could be given exactly what you want and still complain. Just shut up, get it?

P.s. the battery life, rumble, ergonomics and speaker weren't perfect and there was obviously room improvement that has been fulfilled. Just watch the DS5 hands on and, again, get over it πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ.

Re: Can You Use a PS4 Controller on PS5?

OhYeahNahYeah

The PS5 DS5 has the same fundamental features as the DS4, so supporting the legacy DS4 controller is not only superfluous, but also extremely dumb. I have no reason to belive playstation would do this, since they obviously want to progress forward, not step backwards. Why would you also want to miss out on the DS5's many improvements? Again, dumb.

Re: Rumour: PS5 'Shell' Pictures Leak Showing Outer White Casing in the Wild

OhYeahNahYeah

@REALROBLAW

"More functional" it's a rectangle and a shell. What the hell could you want outside of being some obscure shape or bland cuboid? The color has absolutely no affect on its function, kiddo. Here's the lowdown: suck it up or get an Xbox, PC or whatever thing Nintendo release, or wait for a mid gen refresh. You people are the worst. Regardless, you don't look st the thing most the time when gaming anyway. So, again, get over it.

Re: Rumour: PS5 'Shell' Pictures Leak Showing Outer White Casing in the Wild

OhYeahNahYeah

Just makes me laugh how Sony release a black console and everybody loses their ***** for a white variant, and when they release a white variant the next time round, everyone seems to lose their ***** for a black one. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ I've come to learn that gamers will never be pleased, even if you give them exactly what they want. Suck it up. The thing is not going to be looked at most of the time when playing games, so who really cares? White and black is a fine contrast anyways, but this "issue" frankly irrelevant when skins exist. I mean, the ps5 is mostly black anyways. Boo hoo πŸ™„.

Re: Rumour: Next PS5 Event Pegged for 6th August, But We're Not Convinced

OhYeahNahYeah

Maybe. The response we got from Sony after the DS5 hands on seems likely that they're gearing up for something in a cryptic kind of way. It would also make sense to counter xbox's event, and to be quite honest, it also seems likely Sony could outshine them regardless based on the PS5 being the biggest streamed gaming event in youtube history. Sony still have the UI to expand on and so much more extending to the DS5 specs, etc. More is definitely not a bad thing at this point and I feel Sony have played it smart so far, as to not lose people's interest. The way xbox are going seems likely that we will be sick of them talking about the empity promises of power and nothing to really take advantage of that the same way a first party studio would. I know I'm bored of the XSX already.

Re: PS5 Controller to Get Hands On Showcase Tomorrow

OhYeahNahYeah

@nookie_egg

If it's "just a controller" then surely it's redundant complaining about the button colors (I.e. something that nobody looks at when playing games anyway). At this point we all know the symbols and it's an irrelevant detail. Personally it looks perfect as it is in keeping with the color scheme. Also, based on the lack of a huge light bar and how the controller is obviously overall chunkier, I'd say obviously the battery would have been improved, since literally everyone sooked about this, even though it's going to be plugged in most the time. At this point I'd say be thankful there's an internal battery and not something that relies on false economy. Regardless, how is it logical to say the battery is less? Haptic can fit in a switch controller and can be made significantly smaller than traditional rumble, therefore, coupled with the lack of a light bar, we're obviously going to see gains. That's the dumbest presumption I have ever heard.

Re: PS5 vs PS4: Full Tech Specs Comparison

OhYeahNahYeah

@SNARF

Neither will AC valhalla on XSX, not that 30 and 60 is a big deal considering the technical factors at play and the fact stable 30fps will be good enough. It's also worth mentioning that the choice of frames may also be a stylistic one, considering movie directors also make this choice consciously all the time, which makes sense, considering the cinematic gaming target that Sony is aiming for. The ps5 is capable if it is wished to be used. More frames =/= better.
