Might be time to pick it up then! Question for the community though would it make sense to get a ps4 physical copy for my ps4 and ps5? Is it essentially the same game on ps5 or is there an upgrade path for it?

Meh i remember the great psn outage, i aint mad. Though just highlights to me how piss poor it is compared to m$ rewards.

So I have the emulated original version on my PS4 and ps5. And it's fun but god it's janky controls wise and the difficulty sometimes is just downright unfair. I actually abandoned my recent play through because I wasn't having fun. And dualsense controllers are not cheap.... But if this is a remaster that fixes those issues I could be interested. I've no problems with aspyr, the jedi knight remasters they did were good fun. And best way I've played them so far.

Is there Irn-Bru? Or Tunnocks?

Loved the game, the republic gunship was a beast. But those on foot sections can get in the bin.

Splendid i was unlikely to play it and now i definitely won't. This sort of thing needs to be resisted at every opportunity.

Nobody does post apocalyptic japes like us brits. Well things have been a bit post apocalyptic since 2012 anyway..... Looking forward to this. I'm still waiting on my THREADS video game though. Traffic warden skin DLC.....

While my teenage years in an ex mining town in west yorkshire we're nowhere near as glam as this in the mid to late 90s I still dig the vibe and have fond memories of that time. Did feel like.... things could only get better..... smirks

Halo is the first game i played on my series s when i got it up and running. One of the main reasons for getting a series s alongside my playstations was 1) Retroarch lulz. 2) To play all the games i have missed for 20 years because of some childish console wars nonsense. Despite just buying one i would welcome this onto ps5 and would play it. Everyone should be able to play everything on anything eventually.

I can see what the appeal was of the Halo series now and it was and has been damn fun so far. I am currently taking a break while on Reach. I have only 2 criticisms.... The goddamn library level. Enjoy that when you take it on finally. Those goddamn drive to escape levels. No bungie, they were not fun. And i think these should be changed going forward. But with an option to try the original version if you are masochistic

I am placing this seismic shift down to me deciding to get a series s. I still have all my Playstations. But i reckon this caused some cosmic rebalancing. That's what i am going with anyway.... lol.

Mehhhh wouldn't play this anyway. Got my series s because it was £184 brand new last xmas (LOL @ you cex). And it is really to play the back catalogue of xbox games i missed out on for 20 years and then it is getting turned into a retroarch beast.

One of the reasons I got a ps5. But I'm not paying £60, that's a personal decision. I'll wait for the price to come down, get some other games out of the way of my backlog and let everyone else beta test it for me. 😉

Might even pay full price for g-police. not getting the pass like lol....

@JohntheRaptor amen brother. It was just a cracker. Ps1s own x-wing series in my opinion. Plus the mock james earl Jones voice actor always made me giggle. The first game was so chock full of lore.

@SirSephy was that the one from the strike series people thathad a transforming police mech? I think I played it on a OPSM demo disk.

holy poop. If i can buy this i am smashing it! I rented this from my towns video game shop. Didn't enjoy it as much as colony wars. But I am very willing to give it another go. Plus.... psygnosis! I remember it even had options on the ps1 to change draw distance at the expense of other settings. Pretty neat.

ALSO RELEASE COLONY WARS YOU COWARDS!!!!

All i ask is to be allowed to play the colony wars trilogy either upscaled or remastered. One of the best space combat series ever and seriously under appreciated.

I've still not been enticed to move off the base tier of PSN. I don't even play online anymore, kinda stayed on it out of habit.

I added the game to my library when it was part of the PlayStation essentials collection which has since been discontinued. As far as I am aware it does not include any sort of upgrade to a ps5 version. I'm not particularly interested in playing it either. But it would have been nice for everyone who had a copy of the game free or not to have had the update.

You don't have to understand why people play certain games either. If that person enjoys it then that is all that matters. Don't worry about it. Carry on.

Of course it's no good for us poor plebs who got fallout 4 when it was part of essentials.... Ah well. Too much to play these days anyway.... 🙃

The more people who can enjoy games everywhere the better. Platform wars are over.
