I have the Switch version. It's a great game to chill with. It appeared to be quite complex to me at first, but doesn't take too long to pick up. The CPU quite tough, even on the lower difficulties, but the game always remains fun. I'd definitely recommend if you like both table-top games and birds.

@Anke Lol. They don't exactly make that clear though. I had it my my drive ready, but got tired of waiting, so started playing on the disc version of FF7 Rebirth. Forgot about that.

Just realised, I didn't have the disc inserted. It's given me the free upgrade now I've done that.

I have the disc version, which is installed, but it wants to charge me £15:99 to upgrade. I also have the PS plus version (not installed).so it looks like it's confused by that. Anyone else have this problem?

Many of those are games I haven't played, so i can't really argue with them, but I would have thought Bomb Rush Cyberfunk would be somewhere on that list. It was one of my top soundtracks anyway.

@DrJames I bought it yesterday and it's well worth it at that price. I've been playing on PS4 and while there is a frame rate issue, I don't think it's bad enough to spoil any fun. There's not much action anyway.

I'm very happy with this line-up. It's the first time in years, where I don't already own at least one of the offered games.

I want to buy this for the Ps5, but my console is currently lost in the post. Does anyone know if I buy it on PS4, I'll get the Ps5 version too? It doesn't say on the store page.

The store page mentions something about downloading it and keeping it if you're a playstation plus member, too.

Not bad. I have LBP 3 already, but the indie games are all ones I've had my eye on. Starwharl especially.

Yakuza 0 mostly. Also some Battleborn, which I picked up from the PSN sales and maybe some Stardew Valley.

It may be due to all the price drops over that period.

This is probably my favourite game of the year. Certainly my favourite multiplayer game.

I picked up UMVC3 and Mother Russia Bleeds. It's quite like Streets of Rage and has 4 player local coop. I'm quite enjoying it. It has some nice ideas of its own too.

I used to buy budget games in tesco for 2 quid on the eighties. Some were as good as the AAA. Retail indie games I see now are at least 5 quid more than from the PSN store and are usually released way after, so I'll stick to buying indie games online.

I've never played Fear Effect but if it's anything like Shadowrun Returns then it'll be pretty awesome.

A great tech demo. Definitely worth checking out. You need play the Episode Duscae demo to get an idea of what the game is all about though.

I agree. Nice idea but it should be free or at least cheaper than that.

I'm most tempted by Bubble Bobble. It was one of my faves when I was a kid.

So the 2 games, which didn't win the vote, are not being released yet? Last time they were released the same day and had a discount for plus members.

I own 2 controllers for this reason. For the price we should expect more life from them

@MikLSP It certainly is more than a cosmetic refresh. Most of the mechanics are the same, with similar quest types and collectibles but the era does change things a bit, E.g. Instead of using binoculars for scouting, you use an owl, which can also attack and you can tame beasts like tigers and wolves to fight alongside you. There's a few other things too. Enough to make it seem more than just a modified version of FC4. It's well worth a buy IMO.

Arcade Mode should be a given IMO.

I've spend a good 8 hours on it so far and I was quite surprised how many new ideas were incorporated, while still feeling like a Far Cry game. I don't see this as a FC4 mod or anything. It certainly doesn't have a copy and paste feel as much as many franchises do (E.g. AC, COD, Battlefield).

Great game. Will definitely buy that if it comes to the UK.

Finally, games I don't already own (apart from Blood Dragon). 1 episode of a game seems a bit tight though.

I bought magika 2 in a recent sale and already have TWD, so not great news for me. If there's a new indy release in there too, that will be ok.

Is it cross-buy with the PS4 version? I doubt it is but I'm hoping. I don't think I'd pay for it again.

Toy Soldiers Hall of Fame Edition appears to the standard game with the Legendary Heroes pack included but is a quid more than buying these items separately. It doesn't make sense to buy this version.

It's a great game but was designed to be used with a second screen, so I'm not sure how well it will work. I had the same concerns regarding Rayman Legends but that seemed to go down well enough with ps users.

I played it for about 10 mins before deleting it. Ziggurat is so much better than this one.

Plus Metal Slug 3 crept onto the EU store today. I'm very happy as I was beginning to think it would never show up.

Looks like fun but it doesn't look like it should be a £50 release to me.

I gave up on Counter Strike a long time ago. Now I'm waiting for Metal Slug 3.

@Mrskinner If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes and crime solving adventure games then you should enjoy it. There's six cases to solves, each taking about 1-3 hours to solve. I had a lot of fun playing it but I found both the controls and the UI quite frustrating at times, which let it down somewhat. I see it as a £20 game myself.

I loved the original PC version and since getting the Rebirth I fell in love with it all over again. I'm so addicted to it that many of the games I paid £40-50 for have been gathering dust. I've probably spend more hours playing this than anything else on the PS4 and it was free with Plus. Bus journeys during London's rush hour are now a joy as I play the Vita version on my way to work. The gameplay is great and the fact that everything is random makes each play-through a different experience each time. The dark humour is great too. I would give this a 10/10 myself (which I would normally say no game deserves). BTW you can turn of the pixelated graphics mode to return to the original flash graphics if you want.

@ShogunRok So it was. It actually had the highest score in the reviews and the vote but still somehow managed to lose out to Destiny. LoL.

Shadow of Mordor was an October release (in the UK anyway as it was a Sept 30th release in US). That would get my game of year vote (so far). I didn't think it got a mention September's either though. Otherwise I would say The Evil Within from your list.
