This idea crossed my mind as well.
I'll check the demo out, but if the full game doesn't run well, I might wait for the Pro.

All these characters that look nothing like the mo cap actors, but supposedly meant to be based on them, should stop letting these jackasses use their likeness if all they are doing is making them look LESS attractive. It's disrespectful to the actors!

I've read somewhere that their next title will be a fantasy game.

Don't worry. It's a cookie cutter "go save some villagers in different locations" type of task. No story spoilers really.

Thoughts after finishing the demo:
The combat is fun and there's quite a few characters to try out. Really nice music too. Unfortunately, it just looks bad and there's tons of texture popping right in front of your eyes. Hopefully they'll patch it. Character models look pretty good though.

Will deffo give it a go!

Why is life so difficult?

To be frank, by the end of it, I was really tired of this DMC, FF wannabe experience, as I didn't particularly enjoy the combat in the first place, so wouldn't pay for more of it.

Abysmal is just trolling, but it's deffo a solid 8-9. I played the original on PS One and have very fond memories of it.

Loved the original and spent many, many hours playing it. Will deffo pick this one up, but maybe when the price drops a bit.

I agree, it doesn't look anything amazing, but when DD came out it didn't either. People love it for other reasons - it was fun as hell and this one already looks no different.

@LiamCroft several other reviews mentioned that the framerate issues are quite significant. Why would that be?
