Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for October 2023?

I think the games on the list are quite decent. I’ve heard Gotham Knights is a solid game now. Additionally, if you haven’t played Alien Isolation, you must do so if you’re a horror fan. I can honestly say it’s the only horror game that had me genuinely feeling tension and stress, so much so I was sweating while playing. It was a remarkable experience. My only gripe would be the end — it dragged on significantly. If it had been 5 hours shorter it would have been perfect.

Why is ‘I don’t have it’ an option. If it’s not relevant to you because you don’t subscribe to it …. WHY ARE YOU VOTING?

Where can I vote that I canceled my subscription after the price increase? Would’ve loved to see that.

Genuinely surprised feedback is not more positive. Almost all Extra games I either played and know are good, or have been on my list to check out.
Tip: don't sleep on Eldest Souls, I've played it on Switch and it is quite fun.

Shouldn’t this question be asked after they’ve released on the subscription service, not before? How the hell am I supposed to know if I’m happy with games I haven’t played yet? 😂

There should be a "they're not for me" selection. I voted for "crap selection" because I have no interest in playing them. I'm not saying they're bad games, they're just not for me.

Any selection with Disco Elysium in it is a win, I've played it but glad more will get the opportunity to try it and hopefully enjoy it though it won't be everyone's cup of tea!

Tekken 6 and House of Ashes will be my first plays.

Absolute solid month for me, quite a few to play on Halloween and even though I've already completed Alien Isolation I now have the chance to do the DLC I never got round to doing.

Yeah, the Extra games are fine. I'll play Disco Elysium and Alien Isolation at the very least, maybe more.

Eldest Souls is a neat game too, but I already completed that one.

It’s definitely one of the better months however I cancelled my subscription to PS+ after they announced the price increase. If they can justify the increase by adding more top quality games I may resubscribe but for now I’ve a load of games to play that are not on the service.

@Ward_ting Yeah I shut off my renewal. Probably an unpopular opinion here, but I'm about done with Playstation due to their lack of consumer friendly service. Poor support if you have issues with anything, no refunds, and now a price hike on the service, it was just the final straw for me. I'm heading to PC at last. Now all the big games get released on PC eventually so not really missing out on much.

@Kraven totally agree re isolation. It was a phenomenal game that dragged on waaaay too long to the point i was getting cross by the end as it felt like the stakes kept getting raised for the sake of padding out a few extra hours.

Up to that point however, the game was absolutely stellar

I don't subscribe to Extra or Premium and these games wouldn't convince me to Subscribe either. Alien: Isolation is perhaps the only game I'd actually want to play - if I didn't already own it. I'm sure I've seen it on sale for under £10.

Gotham Knights may well be one of the Newest and high profile releases, but it was also not a great game - maybe 'better' now than when it released in terms of playability, but that doesn't change some of the other issues - like story for example.

It might be worth 'trying' for 'free' if you already sub, but I'd rather keep the Sub fee in my account, maybe buy a game or two in a sale that I can play 'forever' instead.

Happy that many people will be able to finally give a chance to Disco Elysium. Amazing game.
No title for me sadly but happy for them and an increase in that game's popularity is always good for future similar games

Intrigued by Disco Elysium but not enough to buy it, so if I get time before mine lapses next month I’ll give that a go. Still have to finish 13 sentinels though - Ghost Signal has taken up all my gaming time for the last week.

Some good games here but a bit of a bargain bin month. I like the occasional fresh indie like sea of stars, tchia and stray. I'm always more likely to play those, rather than an already released 50+ hour game.

For me the selection this month is awesome. Far is one i was going to buy. Dark pictures, gotham knigts are awesome. And adding the ps plus essentials Callisto protocol..... it is a huge value month.

I've put thousands of hours into Elite Dangerous. Loved being a trader in my Cutter. A shame that the expansions were such a mess that they were cancelled for consoles.

The only good game in the list is Alien Isolation, the rest aren't even worth mentioning.

Like since the beginning of these new tiers:

Extra is good.
Premium is awful.

@LazyLombax Any gamer can look at a simple trailer and know immediately if a game is for them or not. I can't trust any "gamer" who doesn't immediately know if they like something.

Man, imagine having to pay that much to play the portable version of Tekken 6 instead of the good one.

I’m still salty because my region didn’t get Disco Elysium (in fact 4 less games) so I downgraded to essential.

Really looking forward to playing Alien Isolation and Disco! I have herd that Alien is an excellent nail biting experience and I'm all for it!

House of ashes was a good time, probably my favorite game from that studio. (Starting the devil in me this week so the jury is still out on that one)

I'll give Gotham a shot now that I'll have access to it. Roki looked good too. And I'll give House of Ashes a go, I heard it's the best of the Dark Pictures series. It's all good!

Got Gotham knights last year oh dear I'll put that down to temporary insanity, got disco Elysium class game

Disco elysium is easily a game that surprised me with how much I actually enjoyed it I'm usually a jrpg's player but this was fun

Good selection of games for everybody. I've got callisto protocol installed and i've got gotham knights already. Disco elysium i'll get round to eventually but i have some huge time sinkers on the to play list so i'm not sure when.

one year later & i still want my money back for gotham knights despite recouping the cost .

Far from happy. Another terrible month, which makes the decision to quit PS Plus altogether after my subscription runs out even easier.

Gotham Knights might be interesting, but is already on GP. Disco Elysium seems like a game that’s not for me at all and all the rest is too old or uninteresting. Extra used to have really good months, but nowadays it’s disappointment after disappointment.

@Darude84 if you cant find a game you want to play in that lot, then you you definately shouldnt be on the service. It makes more sense for people who play a variety of games. Shame its not for you, but many others are enjoying it.

@Northern_munkey My problem too mate, so much to play already! Im just about done with Starfield and possibly Motorsport on 'the other side', so Im hoping to play catch up with some PS titles soon!

@Titntin i'm trying to wrap up lies of p and then i'm onto lords of the fallen. After that i'm going to finally start cyberpunk with a fresh play through..in about a years time callisto protocol lol..

@Darude84 WTH? I sympathised with you not finding stuff you liked and agreed that cancelling your sub is your best option in that situation? If thats 'god complex-y', then guilty as charged, but your obviously looking to be unhappy or offended.
