Got Alan Wake since it went on deep sale. I've heard Cocoon is an experience in of itself tho.

@nomither6 because that generation (and this is just my personal opinion) is the one that kinda started the downhill slope of gaming. It's a great generation too but it also got hit with the "the moment servers shut down, your game becomes a new expensive coaster."

This is why the golden generation of gaming was (and still is) the 90's and early 2000's. I can hook up my PS2 and (as long as the console and discs are good) can play any PS1 and PS2 title on my shelf.

We've had this on the PS store for a while now

I spent $90 and got 3 years of ps+. $80 for one year sounds like highway robbery now. I'd rather just use my xbox for online with game pass ultimate at that point. At least I get day 1 games with it

Just the other day I saw a "Hentai Shop Sim" game that looked like an asset flip game

There's only so much space my shelf can hold now and I don't have room for a second book shelf lol

And unless they've revamped the ending, the conclusion is unsatisfying. There's no real payoff

I used to use PS stars. Now that I let my ps+ membership end, I don't get the coins because ps+ sub is required. I'm thinking of cancelling it now that it no longer serves a purpose for me. Sony messed up raising the price of their online features

I'll agree because the game isn't as accessible as Astro Bot but it's my personal GoTY. Great story, memorable characters, well written villain, and loved it lived by it's title for being a Metaphor for our world itself. Very well done Studio Zero

I gotta wait a few days for my collector's edition but I'm definitely playing it once it's here

I'd personally give it a 9. I'm loving the combat and the retelling of the story and new mini games make it a worth while buy. I think the side quests are a bit of a chore though, they get kinda repetitive but it's a very tiny nitpick

I would personally give it a 9. I feel the social links were done better in persona 5 and 4 since some of them at least gave you useful skills or buffs like the confidants and the social links in P4G mostly consisted of the actual party members. This time I'm just doing it for the EXP boost and I feel like I can just skip their dialogue (I don't though)

Loving it at the moment. The combat is way better and I'm glad they included the "baton pass" in this games combat

You say 7 but it sounds like it should be lower

Look it was good but it wasn't THAT good. I actually feel the previous game was superior in some areas compared to the sequel

@djlard I can't help but think you wouldn't say that if the game was coming to playstation. Invisible borders don't bother me. Just give me enough space (pun intended) to run around and I'll be happy

It's fine. Guess I can give Saints Row a playthrough but it won't come close to the first 2 games. Volition really screwed the pooch on that one. But at least I have Starfield to look forward to

To me, a live service model is fine as long as the game is 'free to play'. I hate these games that ask for a full price and then ask for more on top of it for all the features that are in F2P titles

@Cashews true but I've heard non-fighting game fans just use the term "smash clone" because it just gets the point across as the game super smash bros was so iconic even most non-gamers can understand what kind of fighting game it is.

@ChronoBreak777 I mean they are generally action platformers. "Metroidvania" is just the best term to describe them as they were the first games to implement such game design.

Like how we call games like Nickelodeon brawl, Playstation All Stars, and Multiverses basically "smash clones". It's not a genre but it gives gamers an idea of the gameplay than just saying "it's a fighting game"

Just started Final Fantasy XIV

If I didn't already own Death's Door, I would be "looking forward" to it. I would say it is at least the highlight of the month. Dreams interests me but not by a lot

I've actually been getting into these sims lately. We'll have to keep my eye on this one

@Jaz007 not really, the title basically means "Here is a sailing game to tide you over until Ubisoft releases their possibly broken mess" and this one will probably play better already because it at least released on steam first

If you like these kinds of games, there is another called King of Seas

@Ken_Kaniff sadly I gotta agree. This game will possibly lose its audience in 2 months once Starfield releases on game pass and won't last longer into next year most likely

That sounds like a fair score but I would recommend playing it via game pass if you can. It's fun but not $60 fun
