I purchased this after loving the gbfvs rising game. I did enjoy it at the time but never got round to finishing it. I need to get back to it at some point, I did enjoy it.

@UnlimitedSevens It is a bit like that, lol. I fully respect the old time gamers and the crap we had back then. I cut my teeth on c64 and a zx spectrum. Also had the misfortune to own a philips cdi at one point. I've owned a gameboy, lynx and a game gear along the way. The handhelds offer much needed variation in how you play and not comparable to home consoles at all. This is all I'm trying to say, to offer the difference in value between a ps5pro (which offers little upgrade) and handhelds (which allow you to game without the use of a tv and literally anywhere you want).

@Northern_munkey mate, no-one is patronising you ok. I am 43 for the record, hardly a pip squeak. This is how it works, you comment on an internet platform you open yourself up to replies whether you want them or not. If you don't want them, don't post. Or at least think about the way you say it first. You said you "didn't understand", you can't make a statement like that and expect people not to reply and then get sore when they do.

@MikeOrator The ps portal is a streaming device. This ps5 handheld or whatever it turns out to be, I'm assuming will let you download and play your games without worrying about internet signal.

@charbtronic I bought a steam deck as an alternative way to play my pc games. My son uses the pc for school work, as well as playing games.

I have a steam deck but I can't play my huge library of ps games on that now can I? I don't think you can compare handhelds to under the tv consoles. Two different experiences. I am interested in an alternative way to play said games and I know I'm not alone here or sony wouldn't be considering it. £600 for the luxury of taking my games literally anywhere I want to play is way more valuable than a slightly upgraded piece of kit that I already own.

@MikeOrator Well surely I can't be the only person to be in my situation. I was simply responding to another poster that didn't understand why anyone would see value in a handheld over a dedicated console. Please understand that everyone has different needs. I'm sorry I upset you by calling the ps5pro a scam. (Which it is).

@Northern_munkey Please allow me to explain. I would welcome one so I am able to play my games for once. By the time the kids are finished with the games in my house there's barely any time left for me to play. Being able to drop a set of headphones on and play in peace on a handheld is far more valuable than a so called upgrade that most people don't even a good enough tv to warrant the purchase.

I would happily pay as much as a ps5 for one, as long as I can download from my existing ps library. Having kids that game has severely eaten into my hobby, as far as ps goes anyway.

@Balaam_ I have 2 teenage sons and a wife. My time with games on my tv is extremely limited because they hog it so much. If it means I can hook up some headphones and play without arguing whose turn it is, I'm in.

1. It must be compatible with existing ps4/5 library.
2. It must be able to download games for use offline.
3. It needs to have a screen size on a par with the steam deck.
If it ticks these boxes, its an easy yes.

SH2 is my favourite game of all time but those god awful character models and the rumours of story changes have put me off entirely. No thanks, I'll stick with my unmolested PS2 copy.

Get them off destiny and get them to work on a new killzone multiplayer title.

@ATaco I think if everyone just stopped buying digital until they fixed the stars scheme, it might give Sony more incentive to sort it out quicker? Just a thought.

I'll buy for sure, but as I get older and worse at shooters year on year, hopefully I enjoy it as much as doom eternal.

@invictus4000 streets of rage is a blast with couch co op. Not so much solo.

Really happy with AEW, been wanting to try (but not buy) for ages. Should be a blast, if it's any good I'll buy dlc. Nice to see more psvr2 games on there. Seems the least they can do for all those who dropped big money on it, myself included.

Doesn't make it ok. I remember the no man's sky fiasco, also colonial marines. These were definitely examples of false advertising.

@IamJT I too respect your opinion and it's ok for people to disagree. I also thank you for not losing your mind just because we don't agree. It is worth noting though that to say one thing in order to sell a product and then change your mind after enough pre orders have been sold, without prior warning is a massive fail, censorship or not.

@IamJT It's still goods sold to and purchased in good faith only to be sorely disappointed when what you have purchased turns out to be false. People have every right to be annoyed when outright lied to. I really think icky is not the correct word to describe this instance.

@IamJT Hey man, I'm just saying, that's what people are upset about. If I told someone I was fitting a white radiator in their house and turned up and fitted a black one because I thought it looked better, I'd expect the same kickback. Also Sony were refunding people based on this complaint.

@Weebleman Not when you understand that the uproar (for the most part) was nothing to do with the outfits, but more to do with false advertising and censorship in general. I've lost count how many times I've had to explain this to people 🤦

Glad mine auto renewed last week. I totally forgot about it tbh. I won't be subscribing for another year. I fail to see how ea can give me anything new that can justify that extortionate price hike.

The drifting isn't the main problem for me, more that Sony flat out refuses to repair them out of warranty even though I'd pay for it. Very frustrating.

Yeah, still can't stop playing Helldivers 2.

Looking forward to cool boarders the most. I remember owning this first time around. Also midnight suns should be fun.

I would give it a try but unfortunately Helldivers 2 has killed any motivation I have for playing any other game right now.

F1 for me as it's effectively the same as the new season anyway. I've been wanting to try out sifu for a long time. Hello neighbour for the kids who loved the first one. Probably won't bother with destiny (busy with Helldivers). Great month for me.

I've literally just started playing it. Between that and dead island 2 at the min with a little gbvsr in-between.

Got dead island 2 on offer so enjoying that. Also a bit of granblue fantasy versus rising.

I think if there were a list of most played games it would help potential buyers make an informed decision about which games they purchased. I know if I were to buy a multiplayer game I'd definitely like to know how many people are playing said game before I bought it. Would be most helpful I think.

@LifeGirl PS3 is the last great console, period. All downhill as far as the games and industry as a whole since then.

I've been playing inscryption and granblue fantasy relink this weekend. Having a blast with those.

Never have I ever been so glad to be proven wrong about a game. Thank you stellar blade for not pandering to activists on the internet and changing the artistic design of your game.

It's a hard pass from me I'm afraid. I'll catch it when it inevitably rolls out on ps+ in a couple of years all patched up....maybe.

I mean I'm trying to play it but life and kids hogging the ps get well in the way.

Finally going to get some time with this tomorrow. Been waiting for an age for this.
