I think it will refresh a stale line up of games. A third person game other than assassins creed will be nice, anst seeing as it's exclusive we should be in for a visual treat. My retina cannot wait to process this beauty!

The vita has plenty of capability, I'm confident it will run well and be a worthwhile purchase, it will be good to have a free roamer shooter to play on the move. Agreed, a demo needs to come out to give confidence to potential buyers. It hacks me off when developers forgo a demo, demo's can be make or break.

After 32 hours on this I am still enjoying it, its a faster grind than monster hunter. Ive got 250 hours in MH3 ultimate but I'm not sure Toukiden has that much in it, but it has great visuals (which always makes me think about what MH would look like on the vita!) But as other guys have said, if you like monster hunter or God eater then this should give you a happy. We have to remember that this is a new IP so new iterations will be better. Who remembers the original monster hunter? It was big, but look how far that has come. I look forward to other games of this franchise in the future.

Always want to love dark souls game. I fire it up every now and again with good intentions of getting somewhere, then switch it off an hour later whilst muttering profanities to myself. Great games, but the difficulty vs reward ratio is a tad high for me. I'm all for hard, 590 hours on one Monster Hunter game was a grind, but these games are just not my bag. Did enjoy reading the article though!

I had the original on megadrive and loved it. But was kinda disappointed by this, it's not a bad game, but I was surprised it was still a side scroller, plus it seemed to basic. Quite pretty though.

I'd expect this to market for around £180-200. This tech is relatively niche so will not be cheap. Look st how much Sony wants for the 'new improved' vita. Nuff said.

For me, thus game wins over monster hunter for 1 reason: online multiplayer. I love MH, ive played since ps2, buy recent releases haven't given me the same excitement. I will get MH4 next year though. Toukiden is a great game that puts a proper narrative on the game, which gives some reason for the fighting. I would have given Toukiden 8/10. But each to thier own!

I'd love it. I have 7,8 and 9 on my vita already, to remake those would ruin the feel of those games. I'm already getting 10's remaster. Where do I sign?

@DavidHolliss not really headline, but news nonetheless. For a piece of kit that's only 3 months old its not a bad deal. Although I think once it breaks the 300 mark (say, 299) then it will be big news.

My most anticipated game. Been waiting since September last year. Monster hunter with decent story, win win!

180 is huge for anyone these days. This will not pull anyone new in, if People have been considering the vita then they would do better to get the 1000 preowned. Marketing, sony. Your doing it wrong.

From what ive seen it looks superb, what more can they do? They keep working on 13, which has had 2 additions to its story as full games. Most developers are saying its great fun to develop on ps4. They have so much experience, excuses like these are unlike square enix. Guess it will be another 2 years

Most anticipate game for me. Played the Japanese demo last year and loved it. A more fleshed out monster hunter in terms of story and lore. I love monster hunter, and this will scratch the itch nicely.

This sort of content pays for itself and makes ps+ invaluable. Its good to see the Vita and ps3 getting huge love, PS4 is a little new to have real bargains, but looking at this line up, it's only a matter of time before bargain PS4 deals. So good

Preordered the day it was able to be Preordered! Played the jap demo about 7 months ago and was hooked, it scratches the Monster Hunter itch nicely.

Im unsure why they are doing this. It Doesn't seem financially viable, are they releasing it on Xbox one aswell? I may buy it when its pre owned, I wouldn't pay 50 quid for a re release.

Of course I'd like the price to be lower, but its obvious why the price us high. Its a proprietary memory card, only available for the vita so the market is only vita owners. Sony wanted a card developed that could not be tampered with, think of all the cfw that is available for psp. Sony develop a card that can only be used in a vita, quicker memory transfer and no chance of cfw.

I Love my vita. Although I feel the game base has only got good in the past year, plus the remote play with ps4 is a fantastic feature. 2014 has some great games coming with Toukiden, FFX HD remaster and Freedom Wars. Its going to be a good year

Sure, I'd buy. But I'd expect a few choice download contents with it, like hearthfire etc. Plus shiny up visuals.
