I'm a physical media guy. There are FAR more consumers of digital media than physical. It makes no financial sense fro Sony to continue physical media. I will definitely buy less g games when they are digital only, but I WILL buy them. I've already stopped buying very many games due to multiple factors, so they will not lose a sale from me. It will actually be a relief, because I am tired of debating in my mind whether to buy physical or digital. You couldn't stop the Internet, u cant stop AI. and you won't stop the end of physical media. Sorry!

Looks promising. "A" for originality, and that means A LOT to me. Dont really like the jazz, and if they would have shown some hit points I would be much closer to hitting the buy button...

Rhapsody in Scarlet, Maneater 2, Keeper look interesting enough to give it a go. I am NOT Playstations target, I dont play the following:
GTA ANYTHING
GOD OF WAR
HORIZON
FINAL FANTASY
And if you dont play anything Marvel related (like me, Spiderman is so overrated) a lot of what they have is not for you...So with Wolverine and GTA6 and GOW being the main focus right now, meh....

Not bad, really not interested in any of the big hitters, and October will be Hellraiser, Castlevania and Mina! Maneater 2 and a couple of those indies, especially Keeper, might pick it up today! It's nice having something Shiny and New! Hard to find time for other stuff when Splatoon Raiders exists....

It's not clear, Sony and you know it isn't right what your doing. If I buy a bag of flour, the grocery store can't deactivate it whenever they want to. You need to change the wording to say "rent". That's what rent means. "Buy" means you own it, until it degredates or you die. It's okay though, your dishonesty disguised as legal mumbo jumbo will catch up to you eventually.

All the devs should quit. Take a crappy job somewhere, enjoy playing some games (with all of the pain video games have caused them, they prolly dont even like them right now) and start a Go Fund me to subsidize the lost income. Oh, and that might teach someone a lesson...

PSA Please guys do not buy too many physical PS5 games. They WILL kill them in the future. They will soon be coasters....I dont want any of us to get stuck holding the bag....

I love how you have to do Astrophysics now to purchase a video game. Companies love to confuse people out of thier money.

Bigger picture....they can cancel your game at any time, disc or no disc. If they want Crash Bandicoot 4 unplayable, or any other game, they EASILY could. As soon as they have access to the inside of your console, your done. We need a hero to step in and release a no internet, moderately high tech modern console. All we can do is await thier arrival...

Why does everyone keep saying that because Sony is stopping physical games they are switching to PC...this makes no sense...

I votes for not sure. I already have ps1 through 5, and every Nintendo and Sega console. I have the extreme luxury to just not get anything. There's a lot of games that look interesting, but I don't really play newer stuff. Games are way too big now. Make smaller games and maybe yall wouldn't be bleeding out....The only "must" this generation was RE Requiem, but I could have played it on Switch. There is a solid 30 years of games that most of us have played 1 percent of. A $100 handheld emulator can hold a lifetime of games, with no additional purchase necessary!

I prefer physical. But not the confusing way it is now. You have to do tons of research to buy a physical game. Way to many variables, editions, dlc bonus. Pre order bonus, and what i hate the most-physical arriving months after digital. If the physical game can be altered through the console, it was never a physical game to begin with. As soon as the internet entered the console, physical media died. I'm glad it will be all digital. Sh@# or get off the pot.

It's so convoluted now I don't even care. I bought RE9 Digitally, which I NEVER do w a release like that, but I'm sick of this garbage. Because over half of us buy digitally, physical copies are no longer a priority. Buying physical at launch is just too weird now. Either get it online and get it WHENEVER or go to a creepy defunct store shere the vibe is that ur a weirdo for not just getting it digitally. Then you step out of the store and they lock u out and hang a going out of business sign on the door...

Never play multiplayer games. The game itself is the other player. If I wanted human interaction, I would do something in real life....

You have plenty of games. You do not need a subscription to this.

Only thing that really interests me now is indie games. Dont care one bit about Wolverine, Intergalactic, and especially the most overrated game franchise of all time Grand Theft Auto....

You can't buy physical anymore. It's not there. If you u bought physical Resident Evil Requiem, its already missing several updates and Leon Must Die Forever. I'm tired of going through all of these variables and factors when I want to purchase a game. Two others factors that make me buy digitally; i don't buy anything i REALLY don't want to play because I can't resell it, which means less backlog. Also, my digital library is INSTANTLY a form of insurance because they cannot be physically damaged!

Never knew this existed, now I will be buying it. At least indies still exist to make new creative games instead of remakes...

The ps5 doesn't have Neo Geo hardware in it. Any Neo Geo games are emulated. Emulation is a laggy approximation. Go play Ninja Gaiden or Punch Out on an emulator. Not the same. Good luck with Tyson...Although I do not think that SNK will deliver the goods and make a new console that is 100% faithful to the original, IF THEY DO....it will be historic. No company, Sega, Nintendo, Sony, ,Xbox, has made a new console that uses original hardware not running Emulation to duplicate legacy hardware. Good luck SNK, my preorder is in....

GTA is so generic, super overrated. So it will super sell like crazy and yes the PS5 will still sell like hotcakes.

Just make the most powerful, sleek, technologically advanced console possible. No gimmicks, no streaming handheld, no live service, no physical game controversy, no vr, no subscriptions, no microtransactions, just pure laser beam focus of awaiting greatness straight into my pupils and into my cerebral cortex.
