@Northern_munkey I loved Skyrim, very much in part because I felt there was an improvement on the combat/animation over Oblivion. I gave Oblivion a couple of hours but the skating around movement, and swinging the sword like a drunken man/woman just grated too much for me. As long as it is at least Skyrim level improved ( and it should be ) then Oblivion should be a blast to play for me. Really looking forward to it. 👍🏻

Not being wireless and not having Half-Life Alyx on it didn't help.

I remember in GAME seeing loads of copies on release and obviously nobody buying. I got one though and thoroughly enjoyed this fun, quirky adventure.

Enjoyed G-Police back then, and I know I run the risk of spoiling good memories by playing something that's probs dated, but gonna do it anyway.

Gonna sound like a bit of a moaner, but as much as I love Helldivers 2 I'm not particularly motivated to fight the bots so soon after the last bot mo. Think they should have introduced new bug types and vehicles etc, then after a week or two bring the bots back. Still the game is great and moan over.

@Weebleman it's a problem that I've experienced a couple of times just recently.

@NinjaNicky when you complete a mission you'll see a green tick on the ship map. The immediate mission/s beside your completed one need to be selected and done.

I like Stylosa's giddy enthusiasm, but in truth you have to work at using different weapons that suit you the individual I reckon. The amount of different Youtubers that think this weapon or that is better is varied. There's defo depth with loadouts considering fire modes, and strategy depending on teamwork or going solo etc.

Anyone wish to hook up for Helldivers 2 atm? ... doing ok with strangers but it's not as much fun.

@Professor_Niggle if they keep adding new and fun stuff to it, as well as the much earlier release date then it should have legs.

It's gonna do what Hogwarts Legacy did last year and become the surprise best selling game of the year.

It deserves the success due to just having good old fun core gameplay, and dropping in for a max 40 mins mission helps those with time restraints without fomo as well.

Hope they stay at 150 - 250 sc cost.

@Prime_Objective think it's more to do with difficulty setting. I'm at level 12 playing on medium, and it's never really been too crazy.

@knowles2 It's already happening ... turning off crossplay may help, but maybe that's stereotyping PC players on my part.

Granted I haven't played dozens of hours yet, but can't help but feel that PC players are less likely to chat in teams with PS5 players.

Titanfall 2 ... simply one of the best

Good fun game back in the day, along with XIII and Prince of Persia - Sands of Time. Ubisoft gets plenty of stick but they produced these three around the same time and nobody bought them ... can 'almost' understand their cynical business strategy that followed later.

Would defo be interested in seeing what Generation Zero is like, especially at this point. Concept doesn't make a good game in itself of course, but I've always been curious about Generation Zero and maybe hook up with some folks.

AC3 gets a lot of flack but I personally enjoyed it as much as any in the series. Good choice of period and looked great, with the homestead being a nice task building side thing.

Imo I reckon these type of games will only really take off once different players are able to play as a character.

Considering they've probably made more money than the Beatles, not having staff to work on Red Dead is a poor show. I always felt their efforts were half hearted with the online mode, and yes I too also got fed up with GTA5 several years back. Not having Liars Dice in RDR 2 was a shame as well.

Class little game ... I got as far as almost beating The Song, and yes the soundtrack and overall style of it is good stuff.

For their premium subscription service they maybe should consider adding whatever Sony owned movie and TV shows to it ... a kinda PlayStation and Netflix rolled into one service.

Good game ... have managed to beat four of the bosses which is an achievement for me.

Unless a game is stupidly easy like that mayo one I would only pursue trophies if I really really enjoyed the gameplay.

Konami musn't be that costly to purchase nowadays. Think it would be great if we get the magic of International Superstar Soccer rebooted ( every two years release with a free update inbetween ideally imo ) with Sony applying much needed pressure on FIFA regarding licenses. Castlevania can do with a big budget new release, and Bluepoint can take care of a MGS remake.

I am no fanboy of any big company whatsoever, but I have to say what have Microsoft really achieved in 20 odd years in the videogame world? Decent success with the 360 ( which I owned ) and a handfull of franchises and that's pretty much it from what I see. It seems just a classic case of trying to buy up everything for success, which I actually feel won't work as for eg surely soon enough folk will start to get bored with CoD.

When tennis is done well in a videogame the fun is hard to beat.
