Today's bugbear? Farmers - those players who efficiently join for quick missions, acquire resources, and leave before the operation is complete, repeating the process ad infinitum.
An Arrowhead staff member posting on the game's official Discord server (thanks IGN), Evil-Bosse, incorrectly stated that players who were leaving operations partway through were racking up losses for Super Earth in the galaxy-wide battle all players contribute to, which predictably caused a rift within the player community. Another member of the comms team, AHGS_Misty, later clarified that this was not correct and that abandoning an in-progress operation does not progress the enemy percentage. Evil-Bosse admitted the error and apologised for accidentally spreading this defeatist propaganda.
