I'm happy to wait for the physical copy. There's always too many games to play. This Sept is maybe the biggest monthly schedule ever as far as top tier releases.
20% physical? It's interssting to see unbiased and cherry picked data. Maybe when widely available physical games are compared to digital, this is the reality. No digital only, limited pressed discs and dlc pumped in to make it look worse.
These numbers are obviously skewed by the "60% of sales are on PC." Push Square should added this analysis to the end of the article. Capcoms actual phsical sales are 20%. Obviously physical sales have been declining for years. I buy physical when possible and I own 60+ PS4/PS5 games. That's far beyond the average console attach rate so losing my buisness will be 4x the average. Good luck selling PS6s.
I've been gaming exclusively on playstation since 1996. PS6 will be the 1st console I don't buy at launch. Without the ability to upscale my 30+ PS5 physical games, there is no reason for me to buy it. Ever possibly. I've been a loyal customer / collector of the PS brand for 30 years and Sony is intentionally saying they don't value me.
Hoping for 60fps and 4k but as a Darksiders fan, I'm happy no matter how it arrives. Michael Wincott's voice acting as Death is amazing. I hope this exposes new fans to this underapreciated epic world.
Could the low res, PS4 graphics in performace mode be causing slow sales? I own it but have decided to stop playing until a PS5 Pro patch. It's odd that cross gen FF7 Remake looks better than Rebirth during game play.
I don't know how anyone can watch 30fps and say it's fine compared to 60fps. Maybe it's my OLED tv. Pixel response is so fast, it makes 30fps stutter. I can't even play older games now that I'm used to 60.

Triple A titles in this late PS5 generation, need to have a 60fps mode. They sold this as a 4k / 60 fps box from launch.
