Thanks for the read. I always get jelly reading about interesting conventions, gaming-related or otherwise, that are to my liking but that I could never afford to go to.๐
I never watched the Darkstalkers cartoon so I can't comment on that.
Regarding the Street Fighter cartoon; tbh, even without the other (more superior) SF animations in mind, I always found this show to be one of the more weaker 90's cartoons back then.
Nowadays I mostly remember/watch it for the memes and the 'funny bad' bits.
Its been heartbreaking to see all the damage the fires have done, but it is of course heartwarming to see all the people and companies, including Sony and their studios, helping out those affected.
I'm still waiting for DMC6, sure its too bad that Itsuno left but Capcom still has many other staff members who could easily take his place. The question is whom they consider to be the one most suited for the role.
Another Platinum veteran leaving the company. Now my comment I wrote in the earlier Bayonetta article feels kinda verified. Seriously, I'm getting more worried for Platinum's future here.
Still, I wish Tinari all the best. Housemarque is lucky to have him.
Happy anniversary I guess.
I honestly wonder more on how they will handle the gameplay and story in Bayo 4 after the mess (imo) Bayo 3 became, and thats assuming the fourth main game will happen at all. Not that I think the franchise will end anytime soon but considering how things are appearently somewhat disastrous at Platinum right now its hard not to be curiousโฆ
Granted I don't usually follow PushSquare's "predictions for the year" articles but this is the first time I see Rob's FF guest prediction for TK8.
Kinda scary how spot on he got to be with that one.๐
Of this list I went with Metaphor: ReFantazio. Story-wise I wouldn't call it this year's best as it has some flaws, but it still has one of the most fascinating and enjoyable narratives I ever seen in a RPG.
As GymratAmarillo mentioned, Ufotable are too busy with the Demon Slayer movie trilogy of the series' final arcs so it will be a long wait for the GI anime.
Thought this was already officially announced last month. Only thing new here seems to be the planned release date.
I'm more curious who the villain will be here (I have an idea of who but won't spoil it), since I can't imagine Carrey would wanna return for the fourth time. Its honestly a miracle he returned for the third, which I'm thankful for.
@Sarcasmatwork :
"I envy you. I wish I could have no idea what skibidi is."
Same thing here. I try to avoid Skibidi Toilet like the plague, which I suppose is gonna be harder now that a film adaptation is coming up, which I didn't know about until right now, oh boy...๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Sheesh, I kinda hope something of this was lost in translation, considering this is machine-translated, because if not then this is one of the most drama queen-ish rants I ever heard from a gaming dev. I really understand being disappointed when you lose at something major but this man is going too far.
I played BMW and while not my cup of tea (far as action RPGs goes) it really is a good game and as others before me have pointed out it managed to, among other achievements, win several other awards. If Feng Ji wanted people to see him and the Game Science company in a mature and positive light after this loss then he really blew it with this act.
And frankly the part about having already written his victory speech two years ago alone really says something...๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Indeed. I don't consider Superstars the worst Sonic game ever but its definitely one of, if not the weakest title in recent years and in the current Sonic era.

Re: Scar-Lead Salvation Really Is Returnal with an Anime Aesthetic for PS5, PS4
I like Returnal, and this game does look cool and also like it has potential to be a hit so I'm not complaining.
