Devil May Cry

Rumours of a Devil May Cry, Fortnite crossover have been swirling since 2023, but at long last, the Son of Sparda and friends seem set to arrive in 2025. That's according to credible leakers in the community (thanks, Eurogamer), who say that Capcom's iconic IP is "coming soon" to Epic's ongoing multiverse.

Outside of that, details are nearly non-existent. There are plenty of iconic characters, weapons, and outfits from the DMC series that could come over, with Epic spoiled for choice. We'll have to wait and see what comes of this one as the year progresses.

The series' last mainline was Devil May Cry 5, released in 2019. While you might think we're due for another entry, sadly, the next entry will likely lack the soul of previous entries: Director Hideaki Itsuno developed Dragon's Dogma 2 in the intervening years and left Capcom after a three-decades-long run in 2024.

In place of another mainline game, will you be keeping an eye out for Fortnite's Devil May Cry crossover? Shed a tear for the end of an era in the comments section below.
