Thanks for the review, I will get this asap because, while I watched the GK2/ Prosecutor's Gambit story before on Youtube, I have been waiting too long to actually play the game for myself.
I know MMOs can 'live on' for years and years (depending on the game), so Wizard101 still being active is maybe not that surprising. But why release it on consoles now after all this time?
With all due respect to Mikami I really don't get how he is thinking here. Outside of both Capcom IPs having the premise of hunting down reptiles what other key similarities are there even between the two?
I welcome a sequel, Lies of P is one of the better Soulslikes to come out in recent years. I just hope the devs tries as best as they can to avoid most of the open-world issues that are so common today.
@Jacko11 : You say that Sony is supporting Concord, a live-service game, in order to ”fund their future single-player games”, yet you don’t provide any valid explanation, let alone why people appearently don’t understand this.
If you want your statement to make more sense then zero here then back it up with proof.
I respect the PS Portable (never owned one myself) and I loved my PS Vita but lets face it, the idea of home console companies making a new dedicated handheld with its own games nowadays is practically dead and buried.
I have minor interest in the PS Portal but I rather prefer Sony makes a follow-up to it then make a Vita successor that they just support with minimal interest and then throw it in the bin in the long run. Its bad enough the Sony of today is barely (to say the least) supporting their own first-party IPs for the actual PlayStation home console brand.
Regarding Crash 5's selling point (as I wrote in the NLife article covering this); as great as another Crash & Spyro crossover would have been, it should have been just a separate individual spin-off and not the focus of a mainline CB game. Crash and Spyro need to be able to stand on their own.
The Academy of Evil's return and the "going into the baddies' mind" plot would have been sufficient enough imo.
Still sad news for the Crash & Spyro fanbases either way.
My experience with the first one is pretty much the same as deadfred77. The change to third-person in this sequel caught my interest so keeping an eye on this.
I'm keeping an eye out for Mega Man, Pac-Man, Sifu, and of course PlayStation (hopefully they got atleast Ratchet & Clank in there as far as PlayStation IPs I'm personally interested in goes).
@beltmenot : Here is the Mai Shiranui trailer (in both English and Japanese). Weird that @ShogunRok didn't include it in the article yet had Mai in the thumbnail.
Have to wait on buying Black Myth though as my wallet will be going to many other games down this later half of the year.
@ChrisDeku: As pointed out by a few members in here, China’s market is huge and the game was developed primarily for the Chinese audince in mind, not to mention its an adaptation of one of the most famous Chinese epic stories ever. Those definitely counts to all the key factors on why these numbers are as big as they are.
@LifeGirl @AverageGamer: Don't forget Twisted Metal. While I can't say its one of the top best adaptations (just my opinion), the show was far from a failure, atleast if you are fine with near mindless fun. Hopefully season 2 will be just as good if not better.
And to answer the latter's question: I haven't seen it but the Warcraft movie was very disliked from what I heard.
I’m a bit wary of Krafton but other then that this is a nice surprise. Would be funny to see a Hi-Fi Rush sequel release on all consoles save for Xbox lol.
Thanks for the review. Sounds like a 'good' FMV that is on the very cringey side (well granted all FMVs are cringey) but will still give me a nice laugh in the afternoon.😄
When my excitement side gets tingled by Fortnite it is because of these amusing, epic trailers and....hmm, nope, thats where it stops, just the trailers.
I wasn't aware this existed tbh, and for a few seconds I also confused this with Rare's Everwild (wouldn't surprise me though if that one is also canned by now) even though I'm aware its a Xbox-exclusive.
Good to hear. Its seriously such a refreshing statement that stands out from most companies who nowadays just wants to keep expanding the open world formula for the sake of it without thinking about the risks involved.
Tomba was one of the first PS1 games I played as a kid, never beat the game and I never played the sequel either.
Tomba isn't one of my favorite PS games but I'm kinda fond of it. I may get the Special Edition at a later date.
Looking forward to see the official translation work in Prosecutor's Gambit, especially the names so I can compare which ones I personally find better or worse then the fan translation.
@PuppetMaster : I get it about the first two but in fairness Conan has always been the type to fit in right in a fighting game (its a shame IMO there's never been an attempt for a official CtB fighter, regardless of how it would have turned out), particularly one that more or less uses weapon-based gameplay and also happen to be set in a ’dark fantasy’ settning with a violent, gory tone and well, the MK series fits that description.
Of course, personally I always just assumed he would appear in a SoulCalibur (which fits him just as well) game first but here we are.

Re: Minecraft's Weird Live Action Movie Is Going to Be Massive, Isn't It?
Yeah...no.😑
At the very least this looks like it could preform relatively better compared to the Borderlands movie, not that that is saying much.😩
I'm admittedly a little bit curious though on who will play Alex (assuming she appears).
Re: Romancing SaGa 2 Remake's Overview Video Is How All RPG Revivals Should Be Marketed
That video did its job more then well because now I actually have some interest in the game.👍
Re: Ace Attorney Investigations Collection (PS4) - Solid Spin-off Series Is Probably Just for Existing Fans

Re: Online RPG Blue Protocol Shutting Down, Western Release Cancelled
No surprise there at all. From what I heard the Japanese playerbase was VERY negative towards this game.
Re: Date More Beautiful Women Out of Your League in Ridiculous PS5 Romance Sim Superscout
Time for some more research.
Re: Workers at Greedfall, Steelrising Dev Spiders Are Striking, Calling Out Nacon in Public Letter
I forgot Steelrising existed and confused the thumbnail with Lies of P for a few seconds.
On-topic, I hope things goes well for the workers.

I welcome a sequel, Lies of P is one of the better Soulslikes to come out in recent years.

Re: Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Is the PS4 Compilation of Your Dreams
The lack of original Rival Schools game is a bummer but aside from that this is a great collection. (Power Stone!!!)
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie's Debut Trailer Shows Off Shadow, Voiced by Keanu Reeves
I like how Carrey finally got his fat suit.😄(Atleast for the meeting with Team Sonic. He then looks 'normal' again?)

Sweet! Looking forward to see all the creative entertainment the devs will make.😊
Re: Lara Croft Continues Her Tour of Other Titles in Naraka: Bladepoint on PS5
I don’t suppose Matari can carry dual-firearms of any kind, if there are any? (I don’t play Naraka so zero knowledge here.)
Re: Lara Croft's Working on Her Sh*t in Netflix Animated Show
Animation style looks nice, thats about the only positive thing I can say right now. I guess I can binge watch this on a day off.
Re: Surreal Turn-Based JRPG Bloomtown: A Different Story Begins in September
Hmmm...not bad, color me intrigued.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Black Myth: Wukong?
The second option for me. Like I mentioned before, my cash is going too much towards other stuff at the moment.

Wingefors should be literally put in the same situation as the two guys in the thumbnail.

Didn't quite expect that kind of outfit for Garou-era Mai but fortunately she still looks good overall.
Re: Terry Bogard Looks Both Rad and Mad in Street Fighter 6 PS5, PS4 Gameplay Reveal
Man, Terry's face.😬
Gameplay looks good though, can't wait to see Mai.

Re: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (PS2) - Charming PS2 Platformer Can Still Steal Our Hearts
Still one of my favorite PS2 games of all time. Always happy to see Sly.
Re: Never Has a Game Looked So Good Yet So Jank as PS5's Neo Berlin 2087
Game looks fine overall and the jank is not a dealbreaker imo since this is made by a indie team after all.
Whether the actual gameplay and the narrative will be good or not remain to be seen, frankly I’m not impressed in those departments.
Re: Square Enix Has Got Fans Talking About a Final Fantasy 13 Remake, Not a Remaster
Please no, just remaster the FF13 games and call it a day.

I stopped reading and following GI a long time ago but still, end of yet another magazine era. I really hope the best for those laid off.
Re: Tomba! Special Edition (PS5) - PS1 Oddity Remains a Fun, Fresh, and Unique Platformer
Thanks for the review, Tomba was never one of my favorite PS1 games but I'm kinda fond of it. I may get this Special Edition at a later date.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Tomba! Special Edition?
Tomba was one of the first PS1 games I played as a kid, never beat the game and I never played the sequel either.
