Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Sales Remain Muted in the USA, Compared to Past Games

I am starting to think that ppl are getting Final Fantasy fatigue. It definitely hurts its appeal with casuals when you have to play the first one and that's a 50hr game minimum.

I feel like casuals just want a 8-15hr game now. Just like in the PS3 era. This wont stop me from buying it when its on sale for less than $30. Fans will continue to support it, just don't be surprised when SE decides to make the game smaller and shorter.

Yeah, no kidding, it's literally a 1b dollar business. It's not about waking up and it's about always making budgets cuts and companies cutting back on cyber security.
I agree to the fact that this leak is going affect everyone and ppl at the bottom and layoffs are going to happen. Are you going condemn you favorite YT'ers for reporting on this too. It's out there, it's a done deal.

I will support this Wolverine game because that's the best I could do for a studio that will need all our community support.

The personal info is a tragic shame, because these ppl will have to change everything all of it even addresses. The families who will have relocate to new addresses. That to me is the real tragedy. It's also not my business to look at personal info. My bad long response.

Dang you jumped the gun. The thing about the leak is that you can avoid all that. It was literally organized so ppl didn't have to see that personal stuff.

You assume that I cared about ppl pribate info is quite leap. It's all right tho, you can have your hair triggered response. I only liked the business part of it. Everyone here can go see it on reddit. Ppl actually cared about it keeping the info away from public.

In order to be competitive they will have to for certain things.

Like they are already thinking ahead and planning to raise prices again. Not for another 6+ years. From what I read the AAA games will still have the quality that we are all used to. They're getting really expensive to make too. I mean things could change in the next 5yrs, but, Sony seems to be on the ball about their finances.

To answer your question, they won't put AAA games on PS+ day 1. They are putting effort on small expansion for the superhero games priced between $40-$50. Like 8-10hrs games.

That's oversimplification of it. There's really some cool knowledge in there on how much marketing and research was spent on. Also porting games cost, developing cost, and marketing cost.

I majored in business and minor in economics. So seeing it all was cool. Especially long memo about gamepass and how by Sony own prediction they have until 2027 to match the service.

Could careless about the footage and screenshots it was the business aspect that I really cared for.
