First I was on the fence because Nero voicing Dante and the limp biscuit soundtrack. But now that it's clearly creating its own canon I'm less onboard. The animation looks stellar for sure though...and the cameos are pretty random with the plant boss from 4 and essentially the rabbit butler design from the DMC3 manga 🤔

@get2sammyb DMC Devil May Cry played super well for sure! It was the dialogue and overall plot that was the weakest link lol

@sawaoyamanaka @Veritas7Ax There's a Culturescape interview with Langdon I highly suggest checking out. That whole antivax thing was blown way out of proportion by social media, he's actually way more chill (on that topic and just in general) then people make him out to be. Sounds more like Capcom didn't go back to him because they aren't using union VAs.

The biggest struggle so far is easily the UI. My hunting group and I just reached the endgame content/grind, and despite playing this for a week, we are still explaining to each other how to join quests, or seeing that a quest has been posted, link parties vs squads vs environment
linking (let alone where to find various settings, toggle analogue sticks behavior in menus, etc.). Amazing combat loop, but worst UI for the series thus far.

Most anticipated game of the year. I've played every console and handheld MH entry and so far I'm not disappointed at all. Hoping my fellow hunters are also having a blast 🍖😼

I'm not generally a fan of streamlining systems to the point of removing difficulty, but this seems like an over exaggeration. I'd argue World/Iceborne was fairly easy compared to its predecessors as well, but they still found ways (and monsters) to really crank up that difficulty over time.

I remember watching this project when it was created for PC players that didn't have an official MH title (in the West, anyways, as MH Frontier and I think Online hadn't died yet). Pretty neat on release but I couldn't get into the art style. Then MH World came to PC so...there went my interest.

Wish I was, but I spent too much to play MH Wilds on a new PC. I will buy this game some time this year though (probably after I finally beat Infinite Wealth)!

Sand Land really needs a patch like this too...😓 Good on Tecmo Koei for paving the way.

Adding free additional characters and bosses in updates over time would have been a compelling business model that would make me more excited to play. But paid DLC? Gross. Any enthusiasm for this one that I had left is pretty much gone now.

I'll definitely lean towards the stealth character with Tenchu being among my favorite series. Granted I don't expect it to get anywhere near scratching that itch. We'll see!

Love this series, and I'm currently playing through Infinite Wealth, but sadly I may have to buy Pirate Yakuza after launch 😣 Thanks to MH Wilds, I'm already paying enough to upgrade my PC to play that on day one.

It's too bad, really. The stores I loved growing up were dead and gone a long time ago. Even while the GameStop locations themselves are still open (for now), and the walls are how I remember them, the actual game content is barren and overrun with obnoxious merchandise in its place (Funkos, anyone?) 😓

Infinite Wealth with a well-deserved Gold 😎 It got my vote since Ryu Ga Gotoku has yet to disappoint (Like a Dragon Gaiden had me tearing up when I beat it recently too)!

Cool I guess, but also why? The core of the experience is finding the inconsistencies yourself and adjusting accordingly. I love P.T. but I don't want to watch a film reproducing the exact events of P.T., because it was being in control and forcing myself to progress that made the experience equally enthralling and terrifying.

This game rules, definitely a day one for me! If we miraculously get a port of Shinobido 2 and/or Muramasa, I might sell my PSTV 😅

@colonelkilgore For what it's worth, my wife never plays third person shooters and managed to solo plat this game. It's definitely doable! A bit of a grind though from the looks of it (I'm still playing through the story).

@MrPeanutbutterz As someone who's been playing Souls since Demon's Souls, this sounds pretty neat! A change in gameplay structure in a sort of roguelite fashion without the need for mods or new profiles. I'll be keeping an eye on it 😎

I'll be watching with a few friends. Going in expecting nothing other than to be annoyed by long dialogues and awkward presentations. Hopefully there's at least one good reveal!

I'm actually looking forward to this since I'm curious how well GT7 controls and uses the dual sense. That name is so patronizing though 😆

@QiaraIris Agreed, and I really went into it optimistic too. But the team behind these remakes can't comprehend subtlety in storytelling at all. As a big fan of the original and to an extent the first remake, it really bummed me out 😓

I'm stuck between if I upgrade my PC or pay for a year of PS Plus next year...😖 As a diehard MH fan, I don't see a reality where I don't buy Wilds on day one, though I have some concerns. Overall the beta was good fun all things considered.

The lack of hit stop is definitely part of it. The visual hit effects also seemed to be very weak. As someone who prefers to disable damage numbers, without the numbers there's little feedback in the beta to demonstrate your attacks are actually connecting.

I sincerely hope this ends up being good, because this trailer makes me so happy 😭

Only getting Like a Dragon to continue my LAD/Yakuza physical collection (and the series is stellar in general), and MH Wilds because my PC is in need of some dire upgrades and the spec requirements for Wilds are pretty ridiculous.

There seems to be a worrying lack of glocks, ARs, and shotguns, but I'm sure it's still a good time 😏 Looking forward to buying this one down the line (too many games lately holy moly).

Finally got around to beating the Remaster of the first game, and I'm working on Miles. Hoping to get to 2 maybe some time next year when I find a copy on discount.

I hope they stick to tradition and name the sequel "Lords of the Fallen"!

There's something vaguely 3rd Birthday about the possession mechanic. Not at all what I was expecting this game to be, but hopefully it ends up better than 3rd Birthday 😅

@Czar_Khastik It seriously makes no sense. Sly Cooper does not have PvP and isn't Live Service, so how would anyone stay invested for more than 10 minutes? 🤔🤷‍♂️

I'm counting down the days! Looking forward to this with the original being among my all-time favorite games. I'm also likely going to revert to Classic controls, never had an issue with them (though I wouldn't be upset if they just moved the dodge roll to a button...😅).

E3 was great in its glory days, but I can't pretend that it has been even remotely good for the last several years. SGF is just another okay show that took it's place. I'm looking forward to it!

Great to hear. I will always be a diehard Capcom supporter thanks to series like Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Ace Attorney, and Devil May Cry!

I heard this is from the same team as the awful "New Gundam Breaker", so I really hope they got it together to make this a solid successor to Breaker 3 😖 Could be my personal GOTY if so!
