Let's be honest, no one can ever notice any difference in image quality between these modes. I always go for performance because you do notice frame rate. If they make the graphics "better" whilst still running at 60fps no one will be able to spot the difference. And this is why I won't be buying a ps5 pro.

Looks like the sort of game I'd wait for ps plus, download it and then never play it.

What a game. Absolutely love it. Yeah there's a few bugs (no pun intended) but the game is so good I'm happy to put up with them while the Dev team works on fixes which appear to be already well underway.

Why not? I had it pre ordered and jumped straight in as soon as it launched. Yeah there's a few teething issues to get on top of but it's obvious that the dev team are on it so the way I see it, by the time all the bugs are ironed out and everyone who's waiting then jumps in, I'll have already had the chance to get familiar with the game and level up. Plus I'll then appreciate the game even more as it'll only get better. Played for a few hours last night and even with the issues it was great.

I for one am hoping for a completely new IP from them. TLOU and Uncharted are both great games but a new installment of either just seems unnecessary and a wasted opportunity to do something new.

Or you could pick up the excellent crash team racing for peanuts from the ps store. It's a great kart racer and no monetization to mess around with.

Is it just me or does this look decisively last gen? When are we going to see some games that actually make my PS5 worth having over a PS4. (Other than Returnal)

I've found all Arkane games to be really boring. Dishonored 2 and Deathloop both failed to hold my attention. Got bored a third of the way in and couldn't be bothered to continue with them. I don't know what all the fuss was about tbh.

I actually broke my dualsense controller trying to get through the second level of sifu. Gave up on it and went back to Returnal for a break 😂 will definitely come back to sifu now there is an option to make it a little easier.

Meh, looks like someone re-skinned InFamous. Actually InFamous still looks more fun than this.

Can you qualify why £29.99 is your desired price point? Feels weird that people will pay £15 to see a movie that lasts a couple of hours but not £70 for a game that will entertain you for months. I've spent around 50hrs in Returnal so far. Happy to say I completed it and now am back for an amazing (and free) expansion. Haven't regretted my full price investment once.

Loving the tower, although annoyingly you can't suspend your cycle mid run. Feels like a glaring omission.

For me, this makes no difference. I got bored of CoD years ago. It's the same game every year. Never been much if a fan of Bethesda's out put either.

I'll be playing Returnal. I completed it a few months back but am diving back in for the sheer joy of playing it. In my opinion there's not been much else to play that comes close to how good this game is. hopefully horizon will fix that next month.

Seeing a lot of comments about not paying full price. At some point we all need to support the Devs that make these games so that they are successful and make more great games. Back in the day when we could go to the cinema we'd happily drop £20 to catch a film (including snacks etc) for an experience that's over in a couple of hours. Modern games provide 30+ hours of entertainment so even at full price £70 they're good value.

Needless to say, I've pre-ordered and can't wait for the next gen goodness. The game looks awesome and all previews are saying hugely positive things.

There is one really easy way to solve this problem. If everyone simply refused to purchase a PS5 from eBay for anything other than the RRP then the scalpers would have no business model and as a bonus be seriously out of pocket. They would quickly stop if there was no money to be made.
