@neitan Yes Game pass was created to grow quickly before the competition jumped in meaning Amazon,Apple and Google why Sony think they are a part of that group and insert themselves into that role is beyond me.

@AdamCorela People say that all the time but the reason Stadia failed and Game pass succeeded was because Stadia was positioned as a replacement for hardware while Game pass was always pushed as a companion service to the hardware so there will be other Xbox consoles.

@Matroska Xbox One x was fine at launch and since the next gen update so is PS5 so no PS7 needed.

So much of Cyberpunk 2077's potential got left out by not having multiplayer hopefully this new title rectifies this.

@UltimateOtaku91 The only games either console has put out so far are just prettied up games that were designed last generation given the avg dev time for modern titles GOW looks to fall in that category too this will change in 2023 then you can say next gen game with some truth behind it.

Could never get into this series especially since it launched while I was still playing the excellent left4dead2 so this game was sorely lacking and boring AF only reason I can see it selling well enough for this sequel was because left4dead series was never on Playstation.

@theGoodChap If they make a Destiny clone it will flop hard except on Playstation due to no Sony MP FPS to compare it to just like Destiny.

@IonMagi What track record? I can't think of a big MP game Sony has made in the last decade in fact they were downright hostile toward MP last gen pushing the SP games narrative ad nauseum.

@Rafie I could never understand why they cast aside so many games that made the platform unique up until ps3 now Playstation trying to make up for that with an oddly designed flashy console VR a subscription and heavily monetize ftp games when they need to go back to the PS2 blueprint.

@riceNpea Based on Sony's annual revenue and having to develop a console and VR set at once while never recouping the cost of Psvr1 I can understand why Sony is moneygrubbing the fanbase so hard this gen.

@TheCollector316 I would hate that, it's time Sony competed instead of capitalizing on the mistakes of others that would make the exclusives suffer because they wouldn't have to try hard like the PS4 era.

@Juanalf I hope they can but not betting on it as they pretty much abandoned shooters and multiplayer in general after the PS3 era, doubt they could just magically make a better shooter after falling so far behind.

@Uncharted2007 @Blackbluto I almost hesitated and missed out on buying one because the way it launched was a huge turn off, showing a logo then showing just the controller like WTF? at a time when xbox was already in hand for some lucky influencers and the look of it didn't help one bit.

@Old-Red Only difference i see is it's the first time Sony has a competitor they can't outspend.

@Richnj Sony could've had a subscription service at least 5 years ago but instead went all in on SP games, PSVR and movie adaptations of games and basically ignored PSnow.

@Balosi At least they offered something TENCENT would never even talk to Sony and the regulators would been silent like they are whenever TENCENT buys a studio or controlling stake in a publisher, they have a 49.9% stake in Ubisoft and a more than 40% stake in Epic games.

@OmegaStriver I agree this is not the same playstation, the whole PS5 reveal turned me off first they announce the consoles then show a logo they announce it again and showed the controller at a time when xbox was giving people hands on with their entire console and then the way they played chicken with the price told me they wanted to charge more than $499.
