Elle Fanning is one of the greatest actors around. Neon Demon especially is unbelievably good. So is the tv series The Great.

@Axelay71 I agree. A great deal of the platformers of this era were terrible licensed tie ins or games trying and failing to be Sonic the Hedgehog or Mario. The original Bubsy in particular or was atrocious and borderline unplayable.

Loaded was one of the earliest PS1 demo discs I got hold of as a teenager. Loved how bloody and violent it was haha.

Best developer and publisher around. Always treats customers with respect, almost always make amazing games. RE especially. The only time I’ve been disappointed was RE6.

I tried the original AC years ago. Absolutely hated it. Then I thought maybe they’ve improved it and tried one of the PS4 ones years later. Still hated it with a passion. The combat sucks and having to wait 20 seconds for (awful) dialogue to load was even worse.

This looks just ‘ok’ - I wish we could stop with the ‘retro’ art style thing. I’d rather games were made for the power of todays consoles rather than those of 20 years ago.

I tried to play the previous one but once I started getting past the first few sections (seasons?) the handling was far too sensitive and one mistake meant game over. Not my idea of fun.

Not really into having slurs screamed at me by teenaged boys. I feel like these dude-bro games are for people that game exclusively for pew-pew military stuff or FIFA.

Definitely the PS1 start up. However I can’t tell how much of this choice is nostalgia.
But it’s iconic.

If they patch it and fix the bugs I’ll definitely have a go.

Games trying to be movies are one thing (usually overwrought and crap).
Games being adapted into movies are even worse.
How the hell would GT work as a movie? Some Fast and Furious knock off? Please…

Did Sony ever end up releasing a black controller for PS5? White is always a TERRIBLE idea for peripherals. They just end up with sweaty gunk from the hands.

Did Cyberpunk 2077 end up being a good and playable game? The way it launched and the reports of it being a broken mess really turned me off going anywhere near it. Wondering if they’ve successfully turned it around?

Evil companies being evil. Will never buy anything related to either so it doesn’t bother me on that level. But anti consumer behaviour and monopolies need to be treated accordingly.

It’s always good to hear when rereleased legacy titles add meaningful quality-of-life features, like the boost xp. Sometimes older games can be a slog without them.
We tend to remember things with rose-tinted glasses and sometimes the reality is not great without these sensible options.

@GagaOooLaLa Boycotting someone who uses their influence to cause imminent and ongoing danger/subjugation to one of the most marginalised groups on earth, has nothing to do with moral superiority. It’s the correct thing to do.

So people don’t get to play a Harry Potter game as an outcome of having some balls and looking at the wider picture. That’s fine.

People that claim to play outgoing free PsPlus games often and obsessively, yet didn’t bother to ever buy them. 🙄

@Jtheripper Resident Evil Village still runs great with RT enabled. So does RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake.
No idea why they don’t update Bloodborne with a 60fps patch. According to data miners it’s literally one line of code. Go figure.
I’d happily pay for the privilege too. Unsure why FROMSOFT can’t make this available considering Bloodborne is universally revered (and rightly so). 🙃

@CRASH64 Sekiro is the only one I haven’t played much. I got very frustrated and disillusioned.
I need to learn the parrying mechanics. I’m almost scared to go back lol.

@Th3solution Dark Souls 2 copped a lot of criticism for some reason. It has a slightly different mood to the other titles but I thoroughly enjoy it and play it to this day. It also has the most content of all the Dark Souls titles and the DLC is especially great. I do a playthrough about once a year at this point.
One thing that’s unique about DS2 is the NG+. It’s the only souls game that gives you new bosses, new items and remixed enemy placement on NG+ or NG++ etc. Which is totally awesome. Also, you can use a certain item to allow you to replay boss battles and areas as many times as you like.

Such an epic list of adjustments. One thing I love about FROMSOFT is they support their games long after release with patches. Other developers could learn a few things here…

@CRASH64 the dlc on ds2 was extremely well done and added dozens of hours of content

The frame rate might take a hit but I’m keen to give it a go with Ray Tracing nonetheless.
Makes me want to start a new character!!! I’ve finished it 5 times already but I doubt I’ve seen everything! Such an amazing game. BRING ON THE DLC. Fromsoft DLC is always epic!
Dark Souls 2 has my favourite DLC and is my fav FS game. Unpopular opinion but hey, that’s how I roll. But no fat-rolls 🤪

I’ve seen these games everywhere but never tried them. I’m not a huge JRPG fan, so will I enjoy this? No idea
