I'm not one for complaining. However, I pay for premium, specifically for the classic catalogue. It is infuriating that War of the Monsters which launched on PS4 as a classic in 2015 is on here. Just because it's packaged with a new emulator is silly. I don't subscribe for patches.

I’ve earned trophies on Cyberpunk after transferring my save to PC and back again. I sent my save to PC because Cyberpunk only lets you respec once. So technically. I was using a modified save. I can still unlock trophies fine.

@ATaco really 🤔 did you mind Regain, Walkman, iPod, Playboy, FHM, Mountain Dew, Triumph Motorcycles or Calorie Mate in Metal Gear. Mercedes Benz in Mario Kart. Verizon and Energiser in Alan Wake. Even Kit Kat in Theme Hospital. Or…. Is it just fun to hate.

I had a single mum. Her boyfriend asked me if he could marry her, and I said no , then he offered to buy me a PS1. I immediately said yes. I came home from school the next day. @Pranwell, hopefully. It's a different game entirely on PC (visually). I would love to see some PC features ported over. Although even if CDPR don't. It would be cool if Sony stepped in at a system level. Similar to Xbox with the One X. Forcing 16x Anisotropic filtering. Force PSSR implementation on titles below 4k to bring the image fidelity up. I dunno lol.

As a PC guy first and foremost. For the people asking for Cyberpunk. A key feature that really makes that game pop on PC, is Ray Reconstruction. As of right now, I hope PSSR can provide that DLSS quality upscaling. However, Cyberpunk's ray tracing melts CPU's too. Maybe reflections. But none of the path tracing.

Noticed on the announcements of the original 3 coming to PS5, it said Volume 1, is MGS 4 going to be freed.

The only thing that gets to me about the way Microsoft has approached this, is that they have bought all the best first person shooters. The only ones I can think of that Sony has is Killzone. Microsoft now own DOOM, RAGE, Halo, Fallout, Elder Scrolls (if that counts), Outer Worlds, Call Of Duty etc….. back in 2005 I bought an OG Xbox just to play DOOM 3.

@mucc pretty sure Gamepass is cheaper then Now if you pay monthly for console only and have no interest in online play. It’s £7.99 a month vs £8.99 a month for now.

“Our mesh and texturing systems are very fine-grain and fairly conservative,” Bentley added. “We only have one copy of every asset on the disc. During most loads, when not jumping into a close-up, we only load newly required assets and can dial down our streaming density a bit. This usually results in requesting one or maybe two fewer mipmap levels for big textures. Users shouldn’t see pops because we still have the texture data we need to render when jumping into gameplay 99% of the time.”

PS before you say how you’ll buy it at a later date to support the developers. Don’t forgot that Epic pay the bigger cut back to the developers.
