It's been quite some time since we've heard anything about BioMutant, the promising RPG from THQ Nordic. We're still no closer to a release date, but that's not stopped the publisher from announcing two very pricey premium editions of the game.
The Collector's Edition offers you a figurine, an A1-sized fabric print, and the soundtrack in addition to the game itself. It'll set you back $119.99 / £99.99.
Secondly, the Atomic Edition is going for $399.99 / £349.99, and includes the above, but swaps the figurine for a larger diorama, and adds an oversized mousepad, a t-shirt, and a steelbook case.
If this all sounds familiar, it'll be because the publisher announced very similar special editions for Destroy All Humans yesterday. Before that, THQ Nordic unveiled the Nephilim Edition of Darksiders Genesis. It's definitely keen on these big, expensive packages for its key releases.

LMAO!!! 399!! insane.
Phew, £350 saved- if only they had t-shirts in medium...
I hope the Atomic Edition includes a full body massage to justify the price.
I wonder why someone would pay this much for a new IP without even knowing if the game is any good.
So if you wanted the Special Duper Editions of each of these releases you'd be plonking down £1000+?! Utter madness!!
I do hope Biomutant is good though, it looked interesting from that gameplay trailer like last year
It's like THQ's actively trying to go bankrupt again.
The Atomic edition looks too sweet to pass up
They can shove those prices up their Arsenal
I would like even more money too, especially since I can't fix my broken tooth, but we can't always get what we want, can't we?
These look nice, but I'm not willing to pay that much for the Atomic Edition.
Just give us a friggin release date!!!
Who honestly buys these editions with all the extra tat. Get it digital and you don't have to even bother with a disc and plastic case!
It's been delayed so many times it completely dropped of my radar. All these delays Don t fill with confidence
They want my money. Then bring out a sequel to Kingdom of Amulr or even a remaster @Splat Am I right? 😄
@Tasuki Right. Day one for either.
Collector Edition prices sure are getting crazy nowadays.
@Rhaoulos It better come with more than a massage.
@suikoden It looks like crud anyway. After buying DS3 I will never purchase another game from THQ. They are garbage.
This game's slated for Q3 2019 but still no official release date, yet?
@jrpgdude Wait a few months and you get it at €/$100 less because nobody bought it. 😆
