THQ Nordic is making early preparations for Crypto's arrival on PlayStation 4 in the Destroy All Humans remake. The game isn't due out until sometime next year, but the publisher has gone ahead and detailed two premium editions you can pre-order now. It seems it wants to Destroy All Humans' wallets, too -- these things ain't cheap.
The first is named the DNA Collector's Edition. Alongside the game itself, it contains a 9 inch tall figurine, six lithographs, a keychain, all in-game Crypto skins, and an eye-popping Crypto stress toy. It's going for $149.99, which is already pretty expensive.
Then you have the Crypto-137 Edition. This package contains all the above, but swaps out the figurine for a much larger statue of the alien protagonist, and throws in a Crypto backpack. This edition of the game will set you back a teeth-clenching $399.99.
It's worth remembering that the game itself will only cost $39.99 / £34.99, so you're looking at 10 times the cost for the top tier version. All this, and no release date in sight.

Seems a common theme with THQ Nordic with the highly priced editions presume its where they make a lot of money. As there is no way that edition is worth £350!
THQ never truly left us did they?
That Crypto backpack would certainly get some looks...
Tell people that you got the backpack from a trip to Area 51.
Pretty high priced CEs for a remake.
Still not worth that much even if they'd included those horrid old Udraw tablets that saw the old THQ go bye-byes!!
@Gladiator995 yeah thats pretty weird looking...
The backpack looks good for a laugh, but not very capacious; similarly, I always found the games be great fun at first, but actually extremely shallow.
Glad the game is $40
The extremely expensive DS3 is available in a lot of places so i guess it did not sell so great. 😋
