Last month's PlayStation Plus update was rock solid – and Sony's assembled another decent selection for May. While some of you may be disappointed to learn that Watch Dogs isn't part of the Instant Game Collection (we told you it was fake), Tropico 5 is actually a strong substitute – namely because this author genuinely believes that the strategy title is a better game.

PlayStation 4 owners will also net Table Top Racing: World Tour, a Micro Machines-esque experience from the co-creator of WipEout – we've heard some very good things about it. Other additions include Switch Galaxy Ultra – for PS4 and Vita – as well as God of War: Ghost of Sparta, presumably the PlayStation Portable version. LocoRoco Cocoreccho! and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 round out the PlayStation 3 line-up. Maybe time to drop the last-gen system, Sony?

All in all, though, we think that this is a rock solid offering: you've got a great "retail" game, a promising indie, and some other extras to sprinkle on top. Is it vintage PlayStation Plus? No, but we've already explained what may have gone wrong in that department. For now, though, we reckon that this is a decent little selection. How about you?
