It's been a bit of a strange week here at Push Square Towers. While we've pumped out more articles than BuzzFeed, it doesn't feel like there's much to recap. In other words: the past seven days in the PlayStation Nation have been little more than filler, but we suppose that that's a welcome reminder that 2015 has barely got started yet. Here's hoping for more fun next time.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only - 4/10

Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a niche title at best, and it'll appear strange to any outsiders looking in. Despite that, the content isn't overly offensive in context, and it's handled about as well as you could expect. Indeed, far more upsetting is the repetitive nature of every other portion of the game; it's not broken, but it's not especially interesting either. Ignoring the advice of the aforementioned song, the developer clearly failed to properly crack that whip.

Game of Thrones: Episode 2 - The Lost Lords - 7/10

Game of Thrones: Episode 2 – The Lost Lords definitely takes some steps in the right direction. While the inaugural episode wasn't bad, the follow-up improves upon it in almost all areas. Still, we can't help but shake the feeling that the series is treading water right now, and while we have a clearer idea of the direction in which things are moving, this has definitely been a somewhat slow burn thus far. At the same time, when all's said and done, we may look back on this instalment as the one that started to show the noose tightening around the neck of House Forrester.

"Oh dear, are they talking about remastered games again?" we hear you scream. "I want new games, not remasters!" Don't worry – we hear you. In truth, we'd be the first to admit that we're a bit sick of learning about last-gen re-releases – but we'd also be lying if we said that we've truly had our fill of PlayStation 4 ports.

Talking Point: Has Persona 5's Gameplay Trailer Dulled Your Excitement for Final Fantasy XV?

Some wouldn't like to admit it, but it's not often that a Japanese role-playing game has the weight to make waves in the current climate of our industry – at least, not here in the West. But of course, like everything in life, when something good is destined to come along, it all comes at once. After almost a decade of as little information as possible, we're finally getting somewhat regular trailers detailing Final Fantasy XV, and, as we should have probably guessed, Persona 5's gone and taken the Internet by storm with its recent gameplay trailer, providing our first look at what the release will actually entail.
