In addition to wiping the floor with Microsoft's abhorrent used games policies, Sony’s strategy for the latest generation seems to have centred on one very simple tactic: bundle everything. The platform holder has announced a dizzying number of hardware packages over the past 12 months, and this set available in Germany is the biggest daddy of them all.
Available for a very reasonable €499.99 (£392), the uber-bundle includes exclusives Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, and inFAMOUS: Second Son. It’s a good starter set, for sure – but we can’t help but chuckle at the colossal box. What else do you reckon that the company will squeeze into this set over the coming years?

The box is already available like months in Germany and it's not that big (or any bigger than the bare PS4)
SONY still need to match the X1's price in the UK now It's £329.99 now the X1(+ with a free game for now) I have always said that if a family(well most of them) walk into a shop they will go for the cheaper console in the end. SONY need to have at least a basic £329.99 PS4 out over Xmas as well then as well as these bundles if not MS will catch up in sales. Oh well.
@Carl-G I was thinking about this today. MS cannot be making a lot of money on the X1 now? It was nearly £500 on release and now they seel it for just over £300. I know it does not have a Kinect but were they being greedy or are the operating at a loss now?

@Carl-G considering PS4 is still wiping the floor with the competition i don't think they really have any reason to reduce the pricing, x1 sales compared to ps4 during this past week have been laughable at my local store even though ms have marketed it with fifa hard.

This bundle was €50 cheaper last month and some stores actually offered those 3 games for an extra €50 on your €399 destiny bundle. Great value, if you like mediocre games

I really started hating that game after 2 hours. I expected so much, but for me it was all hype. I did like Killzone though.
The €499.99 you saw is the price of an Amazon Marketplace seller, not Amazon. Amazon itself will sell this bundle for €399.99 soon.
What makes you think it's a colossal box?! It just looks like a bundle box to me, probably about the size of the KZ mega bundle which is apparently 10.7 cm x 47.7 cm x 48 cm
America please. We like really big stuff over here apparently. Look at our Walmarts.
If you look under Product Information, or as they say in Germany 'Produktinformation', you'll see that the box is the exact standard size of an unbundled PS4 box. The box isn't transparent, and the console isn't actual size.
