I know the time frame is why they are going to have to shave some content and they want the biggest return in the fastest time hence a movie release but I would have preferred a very well produced mini series that could fit in all the story plus back story on the characters

Resistance 2 was such a fun game, 3 was awesome until the unsatisfying final fight. If a new one came out for ps4 as long as it has good enemy design and crazy weapons it's a pre order ASAP

@Tasuki thanks I thought that would be the case it's just I like seeing the percentage fill up as I explore whichever game I'm playing, pretty sad but hey to each their own.

Anyone know how I can view my trophy list on the ps4 while psn is down? want to make sure I'm actually earning my shiny trinkets on far cry while I wait for everything to get up and running.
(I've turned off connect to Internet but the list is staying empty)

@Mrskinner I played the hell out of FC3 got all but 1 Trophy. With my friends working shift hours it was hard (eventually impossible) to finish the coop mode

Finally finished moving into a new place yesterday (made sure Internet was the first thing done) so my mission to platinum destiny before far cry 4 consumes my free time continues

I believe a lot of the bashing these early games is pretty unfair, with a few generations of spoilt kids and overpaid adults expecting the best straight away it's going to be hard for any new IP to shine as any small flaws are classed as 'game breaking'. Over priced dlc plans made by possible in the digital download age has no doubt held back some games potential. The best us truly yet to come but some games are being thrown under the bus as a lot of people seem to jump on the general critics bandwagon rather than have their own honest opinion.

Trying to platinum destiny while I wait for new content, flawless raid is a chore. I wish they would make the trophy: complete the raid without any deaths for yourself rather than the whole party going needing to go flawless

I've always been a day one buyer for CoD but I'm probably gonna wait on this one

Keep the difficulty as it is and make some bits harder then reward players properly

I could see the appeal for 3rd person if you had more options for customising your character with different armour but can swap stats like in DCUO but as it stands I really don't see any need for it

I really don't mind getting drops for different classes as it means I'm not going to have to grind for my new classes once the hit lvl 20

I've only had a few crucible games kick me with the bee error message, overall I'm amazed that the psn hasn't fallen apart

I'm moving at the end of October so money's gonna be tight for a little while, far cry 4 will be my game of November and I'll pick up GTA 5 cheaper further down the line

@Chouzetsu it does for the competitive and co-op missions like strikes and raids but you can still play a lot of missions and explore without it

The more I see of this the more I look forward to it but at the same time I keep thinking a PS4 monster hunter would blow everything out of the water

@BloodyBill the hive are pretty organic from what we've seen so far also for a short period they changed an enemy model of the hive in a single room to be a big troll looking thing shooting rays out of its one big eye
